Good BBQ, the rack of ribs was BIG, mac and cheese was excellent, everyone had a good meal. Parking was metered on the street in front, FYI. It’s a cafeteria-type place. You stand in line, order your food, pay and they call you up to get it when it’s ready. That said, I was kind of surprised when the cashier asked if I wanted to tip. We tip very well when provided with service. This isn’t one of those kind of places. But other than that small quirk, no complaints about this place.

Amazingly impressive bbq shack with great ribs and exciting appetizers to choose from. My top recommendation is their Crackers with Cream Cheese and Peppered Jelly.

Although the place was quite crowded, their food was quite tasty. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere . Also, the service was very speedy. Only a few minutes after ordering, our food was ready to be served.

I ordered the ribs, potato salad, mac and cheese & banana pudding. The ribs were tender. They had a dry rub on them that was very tasty. Mac and cheese which was actually shells and cheese, was okay. Nothing to write home about. The potato salad was amazing.I'd go back just for that alone. The banana pudding on the other hand, definitely a swing and a miss on that one. Overall I was satisfied and would return.

I was here for dinner with family. This place is top notch for Nashville BBQ. I highly recommend their food. Would come again.

We stopped in Nashville for 1 night on our way back to Austin and wanted BBQ with white sauce. Planned to go to Peg Leg Porker but couldn’t bring ourselves to get back into the car after driving all day - luckily they do Doordash! We got dry rub ribs & pulled pork with white sauce, bbq nachos, Mac & cheese, cole slaw, beans, potato salad, kool-aid pickles and banana pudding. We found everything (aside from the pickles…they were fine but not our fav) delicious, on point & crave-able. Ribs were perfect w/ spices just right, white sauce amazing, pulled pork moist & flavorful, cole slaw creamy with perfect acidity, beans sweet but not too much. Husband said banana pudding is best he’s ever had. Couldn’t be happier with the meal and would order again

What a great bbq spot. We went at 11:30 right before it got busy and it was perfect timing. The food came out quick and it was delicious. The ribs were perfectly rubbed and were excellent dipped in the mild bbq sauce. The Mac n cheese had a nice zing to it.

Very yummy barbecue! The size of the sandwich is pretty good sized, and I loved reading the back story about the owner of the business (be sure to read it) In case the name didn’t give it away their main option is pork. The do offer a chicken option, but everything else is pork. So if you don’t like pork I would choose to go somewhere else. If you do like pork, then come check them out!

If you like overcooked and over seasoned ribs this is the place for you! The sausage was not any better. If this was a ranking for the worst bbq it would definitely be a 5! To say i was disappointed is an understatement. The mac n cheese and green beans were overcooked as well. The best part of the meal was the bbq sauce. I wish i could say i want to go back and try the pulled pork but i don’t want to be disappointed again. I will probably not be back. If you have to choose between Martins BBQ and here…choose Martins!

Pulled pork sandwich on a cold bun. How is that even a thing? I didn’t even think a grilled bun was something I had to request. That would be like requesting hot fries. The coleslaw and baked beans were good though
