I have visited this Panera twice within the past year. Both times I placed a curbside order that ended up taking 45+ minutes to be ready, despite the app claiming a 10-15 minute wait. The only reason I'm not giving one star is because Panera's food is actually pretty good once you get it.My family and I went to City Limits to pick up lunch to take to my mom on Mother's Day and were told it would be a 40-45 minute wait. We decided to try Panera instead because we thought they would be quicker. We ordered on the app, and were told the food would be ready in around 12 minutes. We drove over to Panera and waited... and waited... and waited. After waiting for over thirty minutes I went inside to see what was going on.There were multiple upset customers huddled around the pick up counter. Everyone had been waiting at least forty minutes to get their food. Customers that had ordered inside had NOT been told there was a 40+ minute wait. I finally received my order thirty minutes after the designated pickup time (so 46 minutes after placing the order). When I got to the car to check for all the food I realized they had forgotten a sandwich, which was thankfully waiting for me when I went back in to inquire about it.I won't be revisiting this location. Based on my experience and other Google reviews, they clearly cannot handle a high volume of customers without being completely overwhelmed. All that said, I wouldn't have been nearly as frustrated if the app had been accurate about the estimated wait time. At least then I could have run some errands in the mean time.
They leave things out and leave ingredients off of items every time I go there without fail. The most recent time, they left out all of the chips and left the barbecue sauce off of the barbecue chicken sandwich. I'd expect more from a place as grossly overpriced as Panera is.
I really hate to write a negative review…and I’ve written and deleted this several times over the last few months…but what is going on at this Panera!? I work nearby and pay the monthly subscription fee and I keep coming back hoping they get it together. I haven’t gotten a hot cup of coffee here in months - always look warm. The staff is always nice but seems overwhelmed and confused and mess up even very simple orders. I’ve written this entire post while waiting for a cup of coffee and a cookie in the drive thru. Mind you, there was no line…just waiting! As soon as this place refocuses I will write a positive review.
I don’t know any other way to start this off then by saying Panera needs to just bulldoze this location and move on.I’ve given this place 3 try’s over the past 2 months. In that time, the dining room has yet to be open to eat. What a lovely way to eat your lunch or dinner, just sitting in your car. It’s nothing less then pure laziness that you don’t have your dining room open. All 3 experiences (if you could even consider them that) I received no napkins or utensils, and I ordered soup each time. What am I supposed to do, drink it?The employees working the drive thru are just plain rude and uneducated when it comes to your menu. Don’t know how to answer any questions and give you an attitude for having one.The past time my chicken on the BBQ was straight up freezing cold in the center. What an embarrassment of an establishment. Avoid at all cost.
So terrible I took time out to write how terrible it was. Can’t go inside. Only drive thru. Which I had to go thru THREE times to receive the correct order. Neither of the TEO times I returned thru the drive thru with my incorrect food was I given an apology or anything else. Unreal. Oh and the sandwiches were barely warmed and lol like someone stepped on them. Awful. Stay far away.
What is the point of ordering ahead on the app if you have to wait on the drive thru line to pick it up? Also, why does the app allow you to "pick up inside" when the doors are locked? Had the worst experience today - if you want to torture me, make me wait on a drive thru line. I just don't do it. If that is my option, I'm going elsewhere. When I get to the speaker, I tell the woman that the door is locked. She says, no it isn't. I mean the service was so bad, there isn't even room here to explain all that happened - for a freaking bagel (which was cold as a stone by the time I got it) and a stale coffee that I ended up having to serve myself ( Yes, I did get inside, silly me, I should have known to try ALL the doors to find the one that was unlocked). Never again. APP DELETED.
I wished I could have given 5 stars. My wife and I placed an online order to to take with us to eat at the airport while traveling. We were very disapointed when we opened the bag only to see a partial order. Whose going to eat me or my wife, after a brief debate and an arm wreslting match we decided to share of course. The chipolte sandwich was magnificant. But after sharing, it left me wanting more. I made several attempts to call the manager to let them know about their poor order accuraccy but was hung up on at every attempt. Very frustrating to say the least especially at slow time of the day. (9am). AFTER the frustration I should have given a 3 but wanted to be fair.
Web not updated, dining room closed. Used drive through. Ordered 1/2 Caesar salad - after ordering and paying, informed they were out of parmesan cheese. Should have been told when order placed. Also ordered 2 sandwiches and chips. Chips were omitted from bag received. Did not realized till back on the interstate. Expected better.
This is literally the worst Panera in existence. If you place a curbside order, go ahead and expect to sit out there and wait for around an hour. I've tried to call inside multiple times, but they refuse to answer the phones. Heck, at this point maybe they've deceased of old age.I've chalked up my regrets as I've watched cars go through the drive through effortlessly. I solemnly swear to never ever place a curbside order again, because Panera cannot handle it. I finally unloaded my baby and went inside to see my order just sitting on the counter. It had been at least a half hour since the email said my order was ready. I asked if it had just been sitting there the entire time. The worker said “ummm I think it’s just been a few minutes.” My cold order spoke a different story. She did offer to remake my food, but at that point I had no more time in my day to commit to Panera. They had ZERO people waiting inside for food, and they are obviously prioritizing drive through orders. If you decide to give Panera your business, I would recommend against online ordering. If they’re not willing to fulfill curbside orders in a timely fashion, they should turn off that service until they get their act together.
I would give this Panera negative stars if I could. The employees are rude and never know what’s going on. The drive thru is always closed. The hours listed are either completely wrong or the employees just do whatever they want. My food is ALWAYS wrong. This location made me lose a lot of respect for the franchise, which is sad because Panera has always been my favorite. For how much they charge, you would think they could have proper management and hospitality
