I mean I get it. Its lunchtime downtown. Lady cashier rude and rushing ppl. Poor guy in front of me gave up and walked out...I should have followed suit but like a dummy...I stayed. These prices are ridiculous for the little amount of food u get. 12 bucks almost for what should be dinner portions. Over priced, poor service, and the food tasted salty and mediocre at best. Wont be back. Waste of money!
Food tasted not fresh
It was good. Great variety and everything was fresh. No hibachi that I saw.
This place is a hidden gem. Ever since I started working in downtown in 2019 a few months in I noticed oriental lunch but never tried it before. I took a chance and ever since it has been a regular part of my weekly lineup. I usually get sesame chicken, broccoli chicken, and steamed rice and it is always delicious. I never get an eggroll but for an additional dollar you can get a third entrée (I always do that). All of my coworker friends enjoy this place and it is a good place to go to if you are getting burned out from the Assembly Food Hall. The lady at the cashier is very nice and good with customers!
Great food cooked to perfection.
Great food - always fresh and clean - Friendly people - i eat there like 2 times a week .. I am recommending this place to everybody traveling to Nashville ..
This is Chinese fast food. Lunch time is very busy. Long line of people wait. Mix vegetables are hard. Fried rice is bland, but fried noodles is salty.
The food was good for a basic lunch restaurant.
I'm very nostalgic, so these new hipster overpriced restaurants don't attract me like the little joints in the arcade, a building that was here long before Nashville became the "it" city. On the first floor of the Arcade is this little Chinese food place. Most of the people are businessmen and clerks from around town, so they were getting all their orders to go, so even though they only have a few tables, most were open. The Chinese food was ordered similar to Panda Express--you can see all the dishes and tell them what you want. You can have lo mein or rice, just like Panda Express. The prices were very reasonable for the amount you get. Finding a bargain like this is getting difficult in downtown nowadays. The day's special was sesame chicken, and it was great. When I went to get my soda, at first I thought that the machine was out of carbonated water, because the liquid didn't fizz when it came out, but then I realized that their soft drink machine is a "tap" style, like beer, so the soda is chilled when it comes out, so it doesn't melt the ice and lose half its carbonation like the new machines do. Very nice. Some people say it's the only place to get Chinese food downtown. With all the joints opening up, that might be a stretch, but it's probably true that it used to be the only Chinese food place, and it probably is the only reasonably priced Chinese food place in the area. Check it out along with the other offerings of the arcade the next time you are downtown.
This is one of my least favorite restaurants in the Arcade. The rice is dry and clumpy and not of very good quality. Some people, I've been told, prefer clumpy rice though...I'm good. Also when I wanted to have a sample of something I had never tried before...they refused me, saying "too many people come ask for samples and don't buy'. I was definitely gonna purchase a lunch with or w/out what I chose to sample - I don't think that's very good business. ; (
