What a fun, cozy, and delicious place. I loved the people. They were so nice and answered all the questions I had about the food. The food was wonderfully prepared. The vibe was fun. I had the trout and my roommate had steak. We both thought it was awesome. I look forward to coming back soon. ??✨
This French bistro was fantastic. Very authentic, super tiny inside which makes it even better. The food was amazing. I found it searching where the locals eat in Nashville. It did not disappoint. There is parking right next to the restaurant of course you have to pay. Highly recommended it!
Wonderful dinner! Vibe was spot on and the staff were very friendly. Food was excellently prepared and very quick. The wine list had a wonderful selection. Stay for desert and enjoy a wonderful evening!
My French dream come true.Ever since moving to Nashville several years ago, I've been dreaming of having a decent French restaurant here. My dream came true in November 2019. I've visited this place about 10 times since then and was never disappointed. My all-time favorites: duck in orange juice, escargots and a seasonal specialty - onion soup made in accordance to the recipe of the Chef's father. The restaurant is French family owned so you can hear the language as well which adds to the ambiance of this Nashville-based Parisian bistro. We chose this place for some get-togethers with friends, for our anniversary and for a lot of dates in between. Yummy food, charming people, gorgeous setting. Can you ask for more? Oh, the French language...Love the tiny French flag you get when ordering the steak. My recent favorite and a huge hit is beef tartare. I tried the upgraded, entree version.Loving this place wholeheartedly and will be back many more times.
Here’s the thing… you are going to trip over this place, like we did, and you are going to think to yourself “is there where we want to spend our evening? It sure looks intriguing” well yes, yes it does. I love to review places that I have an excellent experience in and this is certainly no different. Trust me on this one. This is in fact where you want to spend your evening. A masterful experience. The atmosphere is like no other, the service is friendly and helpful and the food is Devine. YOUNG MEN OUT THERE! Pay attention. This is your date night destination if you really want to impress her with your knowledge of hidden gems. Absolutely cannot say enough about this place. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful experience.
After fifteen trips to Paris, we were delighted to dine at the bustling, charming Once Upon a Time! So lucky to be seated without a wait on a rainy Wednesday, we loved this family owned bistro. Starting with the delicious pate and a bottle of chilled Sancerre and finishing with the tender trout and superb steak and frites, we were too full to try dessert. Saving that for our next visit!
Not even close to what I imagined. We had a party of 8 and were met by the door by the Chef. He wasn't exactly friendly and after some reluctance he sat us in a table of 5 and table of 3. The restaurant isn't big so this was acceptable. But it was all down hill from there. The escargot and bread were good but that was it. The steak was grisly, thin and way overpriced! The fries would have been acceptable had they been even warm. I wont even go into details and my wife and daughters plates.Would not go back.
Great restaurant! We had a delicious meal here last night. The interior is so cozy and interesting, beautifully decorated. Food was very good and seemed authentic! The chef/owner was friendly and straight to the point; he greets you and shows you your table based on how many people there are in your group. I was kind of expecting him to be rude somehow due to some reviews I had read on google but that was not the case at all. The waitress was so lovely and friendly, she even gave us champagne to celebrate a very important thing that had just happened, which was the reason we went to their restaurant. If you happen to visit do yourself a favor and get the cream brûlée, it’s the best I have ever had. Awesome place! We loved it! Wish it was closer to where we live.
This restaurant is cozy and comforting. Do not forget to ask for bread if you order the escargot. The bread is so necessary to soak up all of the garlic and butter. The menu is simple and highlights the best of French cuisine. I did wish they had a side salad to order but I can't complain because the fries were so good.
