Blake you should be ashamed of yourself! This was the worst food we have experienced. Being big fans we thought how fun would it be to go to your place! NOT! Horrendous! Had pulled pork sandwich and quinoa salad. ?
we went to ole red while we on vacation the singer was good and we will return soon in the fall 2022
My 16-year old son and I decided to walk over to Ole Red after touring the Country Music Hall of Fame. There were plenty of seating options on the 1st floor (seat yourself) and 2nd floor (hostess seating). We opted for the second level hoping the live music would be quit as loud (a little quieter) but also because it provided a good view of the stage area below. We ordered brisket tacos for an appetizer which were surprisingly tasty, followed by the best fried bologna sandwich I’ve ever had (Pig-n-cheese). It was ginormous (the picture doesn’t do it justice). It could have easily been cut in half and shared. The “tater tots” aren’t your usual Ore-ida tots, these are halfed small potatoes that are breaded and fried. Again, surprisingly good. Definitely worth the visit. As with all restaurants on Broadway, If there isn’t a cover charge to get in, the musicians are playing for tips - and many of them provide a Venmo account if you don’t have cash - so remember to tip the talent! The Lookout, rooftop area on the 5th floor is intimate and quaint. Definitely worth a look before heading out.
The food at this restaurant was great. I ordered a pretzel with beer cheese and pimento cheese and I loved it. However the singers (while good) were quite loud. But this was probably because I was sitting right next to the speakers. Overall this is a good restaurant. 3/5
My husband and I ordered the onion burger and fries, and it took over an hour to get our food. After specifically requesting a no pink burger, our burgers were very cold and not cooked, and fries were extremely cold. I really like Blake Shelton, but his restaurant is awful, and expensive.
Great band! Great atmosphere!!
Three floors, nice band, the rooftop bar had bar food coming out that looked pretty good. Seemed like a sedate place at the time we were there. Unfortunately for Ole Red, we were across the street from Kid Rock's place which was clearly having a great party! We left to go hang out there. I would hang out over at Kid Rock's, but that's just me.
The music was good. The drinks ok, but the food left a lot on the table. I had the redneck nachos the barbeque sauce was too sweet and took away from the dish. Also there was no heat, the fresh jalapenos had no heat and in my opinion a pickled jalapeno would have been a better choice. All in all the place had a great atmosphere and the service was good. I enjoyed the live music and the rooftop was beautiful.
Very disappointed in the quality of food received at the Gaitlinburg restaurant. We were a family of twelve so everything from burgers, nachos to fish was ordered. Drinks were great along with entertainment. Food was mediocre at best. We spent a considerable amount. Won’t go back.
Ole Red was by far the cleanest bar on Broadway. Wide open space on the first floor. It is self-seating on the first floor. Mike the bartender on our first visit was very personable and professional. Great drinks and the brisket tacos were delicious. MUSIC is FABULOUS!!! Our second visit was first floor again and everything was great. I didn't catch the bartenders name though, much busier. Again, MUSIC was AWESOME. Our third visit was on the second floor, first floor was crowded, the bartender was not that great, my son finally got his correct drink by the 5th one and she still charged me for it. The brisket tacos were missing the onions and the sauce, she stated the kitchen ran out of it.......so I don't recommend the 2nd floor, LOL. We had great success on the first floor. Love Ole Red and when they played Blake's songs.
