Good things first: pizza ready in 10 mins, amazing crustOkay at best: garlic chicken pizza. Chicken wasn’t fresh. Needed salt.Disappointing: highly rated reviews were misleading because I went in with high expectations and got disappointed.
I'm always interested when I'm out across the country and see Pizza advertised as New York Pizza. The pizza in Western New York is very hard to beat so I'm always curious how close places can come.I tried two slices and was impressed enough to buy a pie.Very tasty.Crust a little thinner than we have but very close in flavor and texture. One thing did knock them down by a star though. If you have your pizza maker visible.I would want to see them instead of wearing one pair of gloves, either changing them out for every pie but I know that's expensive.I just don't wear any gloves and wash at the wash sink before every pizza.Knowing that those closest probably been on for hours and seeing them touch myriad of things, it's really just them keeping their hands clean, and not keeping my food protected. That being said it's Pizza and places that make it behind the scenes, all have the same things going on so it is what it is.I hope this wasn't too harsh. The pizza was really very good and I hope this place has a lot of success.
Just walked into the restaurant, did not eat, however I was in there for at least 30 seconds before someone spoke and at least three different employees stared right at me - no one was in line and a family was sitting at a table eating. Very rude. When someone finally spoke they said hello, and began playing with their hair. They didn’t say anything else to me. They had purple gloves on and were running their hands down it (this was a guy). That was the last straw, I just turned and walked out. Would not recommend this place and would advise the employees not to mess with their hair while behind the counter (especially with gloves on). Yuck!
We ordered ahead and they had our pizza ready in around 15 to 20 minutes. The staff greeted us the moment we entered. They cook their pizza in a brick oven. You can buy your pizza by the slice or the pie.The food was delicious, a great New York style pizza all the way in Nashville TN!
*edit: this was the hendersonville location, not the Nashville location.*Pizza was delicious, but my service was not stellar. I felt judged for wearing a mask during the pandemic, staff was noticeably kinder to other patrons who were not masked when serving. I was also dressed and the staff seemed uncomfortable with my presence, which I don’t appreciate as a customer who paid $40 to try their food. My 1 star is for the pizza.
Consistently delicious pizza and authentic/genuine New York-style flavor! I drive 12 miles from South Nashville to get my fix! I was born and raised in NY and this reminds me of home. Nashville West is very lucky to have them in their neck of the woods. PLEASE open in Melrose or 100 Oaks!!! Go Giants!!
Great pizza and service no matter what. We order carry-out all the time and the guys have never disappointed. They are an experienced group that makes a badass pizza and truly cares about their product.
We love their pizza! We always get a large cheese. It is always delicious! Good crust, good ingredients
Probably one of the best pizzas I have had since moving to Nashville. Will have to give 4 stars instead of 5 because it seemed like this location has a limited menu and it's going to be pizza mostly. Solid pie! Cool staff members!
Excellent pizza, went with a plain large cheese. Being from NE PA we are hard to please as far as pizza goes, and this was just what we needed. Cheese, thin with the right amount of sauce. Reminded me of the "sweet sauce" popular in Old Forge, PA. We ate it there, and got a small Stromboli go go. Price was on point. The 2 young men working there were a bonus. Friendly and accommodating. We'll be back soon.
