What a Nashville gem! The staff there made a great first impression and were happy and available to help throughout our entire dining experience, it didn't matter that it's casual service.Everything we ate had so much flavor and love in every bite and we can't wait to go back. 100% recommend this to anyone living or visiting Nashville. Thanks Nicky's team!

We love Nicky’s!! The service is casual so you can come as you are, and then you are getting such high quality food, which is an amazing combo! The staff is knowledgeable and super friendly, and we never felt like we couldn’t ask for help! This restaurant is a must and you can feel the love in every dish! Can’t wait to go back!

Food was good but some how my order got "bumped" and had to wait over 45 minutes for on pizza. I'll have to give them another try. They did apologize and refunded my order and brought a tiramisu.

It was barely OK. Was expecting so much more from all reviews. Focaccia bread was burnt. I don't mean over cooked, it was burnt! The server laughed when she placed it on the table. When she brought the pizza we never saw her again. Had to go find someone to get us a box. Won't be back.

2.5/5 for meI REALLY wanted to like this place. But 1st issue is parking is kind of a disaster in the area. If you can find a spot and get in you might be confused. There is a big sign inside the door that says you go up to a certain counter to order on the other side of the restaurant I ordered right there.5/5 out of employee friendliness2/5 logistics of this restaurant are a mess- you get a number card after you order your food, Numbers on table are small and I saw food runners not being able to easily locate the proper number on the table, resulting in running from area to area to locate person. I suggest getting the tall metal card holders with giant numbers. Also write in the note in POS where the person plans to sit it may help.- almost no table service, hard to ask for a clean glass, ones on table were dirty with stuff floating in them after I poured my glass.5/5 for having water and utensils and plates and hand sanitizer on table already.5/5 for using actual plates and flatware.4/5 for ambience, it’s very loud but it’s a cool vibe, I like it. It also smells good in here.I ordered cavateppi bolognese, it’s pasta with meat sauce, it was $18 I believe, in house made pasta. It was undercooked, hard to chew, and the sauce was ALL meat and not really any sauce. It was bland. Hard to ask for black better and salt, no option for Parmesan cheese or anything. I should’ve tried the pizza it looked good plus it’s coal fired which is amazing.I asked for a side of bread I got cold focaccia no bread knife and butter weirdly swiped on the side of the plate. Bread would be amazing if it was hot or something.Disappointed that for $18 plate of pasta sucks and I highly recommend not ordering the pasta here. I think the pizza would be your best bet. It seems family friendly.

This restaurant is a bagel shop during the morning hours on the weekend and it was absolutely fabulous! The bagel breakfast sandwich was so good and the quality of the ingredients is HIGH. If they do this good as a bagel shop, I have to believe their pizza is really good. I will definitely come back to try the pizza sometime!

As a regular visitor to Nashville from New Jersey, who has repeatedly visited Naples Italy (where pizza was invented), I am on record that the Classic Margherita Pie at Nicky's Coal Fired is about as good as it gets. I hope the locals know what a treasure exists here !!

It was fine, but I have no desire to return. If you're in the area, I'd say a visit is worth it once. We drove from Hendersonville to check it out with some friends and felt it definitely wasn't worth the drive. If I did ever find myself back over there, the only thing worth ordering again would be the gnocchi. Other than that, it was mostly mediocre. Staff was great however.

Staff were rude and food was terrible! Pizza crust was soggy and toppings were virtually none existent. We had seen this place featured on Guy Fieri’s show and wanted to give it a try. Very very disappointed . Would not go back.

Wasn't wildly impressed with the food, prices or service but it was okay. I enjoyed the atmosphere.
