This is a review from a person from Venezuela, who really knows the taste since I was born. This place is just Amazing, the most authentic Venezuelan place I’ve ever visited in Tennessee. I’m not a local guide but I know how it’s supposed to taste and look. Patacón was amazing, Cachapas con queso were great, Tequeños even better. I found my favorite place in Nashville. Thanks!!!

We had the Carne asada Arepa and Tequeños. Yum! Have been looking for great Venezuelan food in Nashville and this place did not disappoint! Kind service, too- felt like home!

Absolutely excellent. The customer service was great. We had arepas and tequeyoyo. Delicious! We decided to try Venezuelan food after watching a show about Venezuela. So glad we did! This was our first visit, but definitely not the last. The place is small, but the flavor is BIG! I agree with others about the difficult parking, but that has nothing to do with the food. Five stars!

We tried the following:Cachapas con queso 10/10 omg these are delicious. Corn cake with cheese inside.Tequeyoyos 0/10 did not like at all, but were made well and nothing other than my individual taste.Pepito 3/10 did not care too much for. But again just individual preferencePlantain and cheese empanada 9/10 this was really yummy. Their empanada dough is exquisite!Domino empanada 6/10 hit sort of meh on this one, good thoCarne asada arepa 10/10 holy cow this one is the winner. The arepa was crunchy on the outside soft on the inside. Steak cooked perfectly. Absolutely number 1! Delicious!Chicha 10/10 smooth, decadent and delicious. Excellent ending to our visit to Nashville Venezuelan food.$68 including 20% tipParking stinks, but everyone knows that from reading the different reviews. The restaurant was clean and the staff was extremely helpful and courteous. They DO take credit cards.take a chance and explore!

Best Venezuelan food in Nashville! So much flavor and always fresh

The food was great, but more of a portion will be better

This is an absolute hidden gem. The food is absolutely amazing...especially the empanadas.

Nashville Venezuelan Food is an excellent spot for really delicious food. The restaurant is quite small, and parking is a real pain (since you have to enter and exit the parking spot in reverse onto a usually busy road). However, the food is definitely worth the effort.First thing I tried were some empanadas. One was a fried plantain and cheese, the other was a ham and cheese. These empanadas were made with a really fluffy, soft, fried outer shell that reminded me of a funnel cake consistency. The cheese itself was really nice, and I think I preferred the plantain one more, specifically since the sweet, caramelized bananas was a nice juxtaposition to salty cheese and a fried outer shell. We also got a tequeyoyo. The only way I can describe is a giant mozzarella stick, however this also has fried plantains AND ham. This was pretty good, however the cheese was somewhat solidified, which I would have preferred if it was melted more. Finally, I had a carne asada arepa. This is like a sandwich, and this was amazing. The “buns” are made of corn and were delicious themselves. Then, a hefty serving of grilled beef was placed inside with cheese, tomatoes, and a nice jalapeño mayonnaise-like sauce. If anyone has tried the creamy jalapeño served at Chuy’s this is a thicker version of that but delicious. This was my favorite item of the lot.For sauces, you’ll have to get them yourself from an empty table (they have giant bottles of their creamy jalapeño sauce and small hot sauce bottles). Near the entrance is also where you can find utensils, napkins, and to-go boxes. Now, why the 4-star rating you may ask? Yes, the food is a 5 out of 5, however I have some critiques. First, they don’t have tap water. If you ask for water, you will get and be charged for bottled water (not a big issue as it’s just $1).The ambience is also too loud. With no one even eating in the restaurant expect me and 1 other person, it’s hard to hear yourself talk. Loud music is blaring, and some of the younger kids working at the restaurant can get noisy and sing with the music. It would be really nice to have a slightly quieter experience especially in a venue as small as this.

Great food and great service

This was amazing! They are the only Venezuelan restaurant I know that serves Tequeyoyos. Theirs cachapas were also delicious. 5 stars.
