I feel like Make Ready is the Platform 9 3/4 of restaurants-- even though you know it's there, it's still hard to find. It's in the lower level of the Hotel Noelle, and the signage is minimal, if not missing. The waitress asked if we were celebrating a special occasion (we must have looked happy). We were-- our daughter's EdD degree from Vanderbilt. And they brought the adults each a glass of complimentary champagne!! The food was great. Our age 7 ate an entire gem lettuce salad and LOVED the spaghetti and meatballs, as did our age 16. Also excellent short ribs and chicken parmesan. Our bottle of wine was great. The boss or manager came around to our table and checked that all was well. Terrific dinner experience!
Makeready L&L on 4th Avenue in Nashville is a great spot for delicious food and drinks in a cool and relaxed atmosphere. I really like their menu and everything that they offer here. The staff here is very friendly and goes out of their way to make sure that you have everything that you need.

I was excited to try this place with an out of town guests and just disappointed. The staff was friendly, but ok. I feel like the price we paid for what we got was pretty sad. We added on some of there breakfast potatoes, that only came out hard and cold like left overs. I just think you could find a better place to spend your money. I really did love the decor and what it could have been.
The decor of the place looked amazing. The table was sticky to a point I used my napkin to cover my area. The waitress did not notice. Service was okay. The chicken was great. The waffles could be called pancakes instead. No hard crispy shell. The hot honey was no existence. For the amount of food and quality of the cook, the pricing was simple bad.
They served 3 chicken dishes that were raw. Do not recommend.
Cannot review the food as we were told there would be an hour wait. That was perfectly fine but as we were leaving, the couple after us were told 25min! We were with a fighter who was wearing a doo- rag to keep his hair tame for wearing head gear. Again that's ok, this is his last fight before going pro, and we will make sure to never visit this place again!
Stopped in for brunch and had the delicious and spicy breakfast tacos. I recommend corn tortillas. Local coffee was on point. Can you guess who the silhouettes are on the wall? Hint: they aren't local artists ;-)
Came here for brunch after a night out in Nashville and it was a great experience. The waiter was very patient with our slow decision making! Great coffee and quality of food. Just what we needed. Very cute atmosphere as well, printer alley themed and super cute. Would highly recommend
This place was so disappointing. When we arrived we were informed they no longer carried any cocktails. So we adjusted and just went with the flow. However, once we ordered, the food was pretty bad. I went with the tacos, which were egg and chorizo…which really means egg and grease. The staff was fine, but slow. I was so looking forward to this place, as we researched prior. I encourage you to skip this one and try a different place for brunch. Don’t be fooled by the online pictures it is truly nothing at all as portrayed.
