I can’t believe I haven’t left a review before now- but had to chime in and say I am a regular here because of their vegan pho chay. It has been my favorite meal in Nashville for over a year now. I love showing friends and a family this spot- it is so authentic and tasty. The staff is incredible too. I recommended this spot to anyone visiting Nashville or looking for something new.
Always on the lookout for new places to eat around Nashville, Love, Peace & Pho came up while trying to find a Vietnamese restaurant.I’ll jump into it and say, I’m glad we found this place! From the time we walked in, the host and the server were super friendly and helpful from ordering to paying. We started with a crispy crepe app — ummmmm, get this. You won’t regret it.I had the lemongrass tofu bahn mi and my wife had the wok seared rice plate. Both had incredible flavor. The rice plate was a tad on the spicy side — I liked it, but just a heads up.Would I go again? In the words of my youngest daughter, “Yummm! We’ll be coming back here for sure!”
My love for Vietnam food has been ongoing and this restaurant really didn’t disappoint!! I got a Chicken and Spring Roll Vermicelli Noodle and my friend got a seafood Pho noodle. The boba is great- just the tapioca balls were frozen (personally I like mjne warm and chewy)For appetizer we had the pork and shrimp rice dumpling- AMAZING. Only comment with that dumpling was the rice flour was a bit too thick and there wasn’t much filling. Regardless the broth, sauce, and service is VERY impressive.
I’ve tried here 3 times already with my husband and overall service is okay but their banh mi sandwiches were very fresh and delicious. My all time favorite noodle soup is Bun Bo Hue, whenever I eat at Vietnamese restaurants and I wouldn’t say this place has the most authentic one because last time it was served with thin rice noodles instead of thick rice noodles which it made the soup tasted like it wasn’t a Bun Bo Hue. I wish staffs were more humble (especially, a guy who looked like an owner was serving us the whole time with his one hand tucked into his pocket on our first visit which, it wasn’t very attentive to us) and being friendly to their customers and make authentic soup. Overall, great food. We will return again!
I'm only rating this by my exp this particular night. Was still hungry and was in mood for some Pho. Read reviews on this place and was pretty good reviews. I happen to be out on a Friday night so this might have an effect on why things happened they way they did on my visit. Im not from Nashville so I took Uber to this location and met a friend there. My Uber driver was raving about this place too, so I was real stoked about my choice. If an Uber driver says it's their go to place for Pho I take that as a good recommendation. Anyways it's March Madness, so we wanted to watch the games on TV. We get there, the TV's aren't on at the bar area. Took a bit for someone to seat us, it was Friday so it was busy, no big deal. We asked if they could turn TV on, they said no, no one watches the TV so they just turned off. Guessing by that statement that it meant maybe no cable? So we get seated looking outside at the street. Not my choice of a view, but was willing to give it a chance. Im a patient person, but took too long to get waited on, we were trying to be respectful and order something. I lost my patience and looked for other places to go. By time we got waited on I had already made the choice to leave.Unfortunately I wasn't able to stay and try out their Pho. I'm not sure if I'll return to try it to give better review. Tonight was based on service and what I thought would be offered but wasn't. A working TV I know might sound pitty. Maybe take the TV's out completely?
delicious very friendly thank you.
Well, i was surprised and happy to find out there’s a Vietnamese place on 8th and it looks like a pleasant place to sit at! However, I took take out this time and I gotta say for just a noodle salad bowl with tofu it was too pricy and there’s nothing special about it. On the menu it says $13 however the guy made a mistake and charged me $14 and instead of apologizing and maybe even giving a little something extra as a compensation he simply said that the menu is incorrect and left it at that. And, im a regular at another Vietnamese place called Vui’s Kitchen where I always order that same noodle bowl and it costs $11.95 . That’s the right price for what it is!So im a bit disappointed overall.I might try them again with a different dish and hope the price and the service will be better. If so, I’ll update my review.
SOOOO impressed with this place. Legit decor, great service, and the BROTH is LEGIT!! Definitely one of my go to spots from here on out. Love it.
Was clean, people were nice but the broth was lacking flavor. Usually pho broth is not brown, the Vietnamese pride themselves on clear broth. This was tasteless, very disappointing.
Omg! Wow, it was my first time trying Pho in general and I was NOT disappointed.Today for lunch, my partner and I tried the Lpp's wings, Lpp Shrimp fried rice, the Mi Wonton Pho, and the BBQ pork Banh Mi.The BBQ pork sandwich was out of this world and so flavorful!!! I would recommend eating it with a soup because the bread was a bit hard but once you dip it, it was great. The star was definitely the Mi Wonton Pho. Delicious and I just added some sriracha and hoisin sauce and it was delish! The shrimp fried rice did need a little flavor - it was a bit dry. The wings were cooked to perfection and we loved the little tang that came with it.I will not only be back again, but ill make sure I run there next time. :)
