Totally worth it. Absolutely delicious bulgogi with loads of flavor. I recommend anyone within the Nashville area to try it out. Seating might be tough but you can get takeout.
One of the best places to get Korean food in Nashville! The seafood pancake had so many pieces of seafood and crispy. The Mool Naengmyun broth was icy and tangy - with the sweetness of the pear, *chef's kiss* . It was perfect on a humid and hot summer day. My bf had the bulgogi and said it was really good as well. Korea House will probably be my go to for Korean food from now on!
Excellently prepared Bulgogi. This smaller, family owned restaurant is a hidden gem in the Greenhills area of Nashville. If you’re looking for authentic Korean dishes that’ll have you wanting more, this is the place to be. We come here every time we’re in the area, and have never had a disappointing meal.
If I were a billionaire, I’d rent the place out for every major life event. This place is hands down the best place in Nashville for Korean food. Someone’s grandmother has shared their recipes and a whole team is making them with love in the kitchen. 10 stars!
Never would have guessed I could eat such authentic and delicious Korean food in Nashville. We ordered the boyangjeongol/goat stew for two and ate so well; had to take about half of it home because we couldn’t finish! Will have to come back whenever I’m in town.
Great food! The server was super helpful since we are fairly new to Korean cuisine.
If you ever have the pleasure of being served by Jennifer, you are in for a treat!!! Absolutely adore her positive vibes. Oh the food - I struggle to find the words to describe how satisfying of an experience I had. This is authentic Korean - like mom's and pops is in the kitchen bringing Korea to Nashville type of vibes. Made to order type of affair. No frills ambiance, very small dining space, nothing fancy - come as you are, more mature ladies serve you with speed, tables sit close to neighbors and guess what? Nobody cares because the food is absolutely delicious. We waited 30+ minutes for a seat and I will do it again. What are you waiting on? My pics don't capture how good it is. So visit and experience it the next time you are in West Nashville.
I have no idea why I have been hesitant to come here. This was easily once of the best meals I have had in Nashville and some of the best Korean food I have have outside of Korea. From the moment you walk in the experience begins. The space is tight...real tight. I guess you can call it intimate. No frills. The menu is diverse without being overwhelming. You can find all the standards and some lesser known items. Banchan was plentiful, delicious, and refilled regularly. The entire table of 4 ordered a variety of different soups and noodles. Every single bowl was full of rich and flavorful broth and copious amounts of meat, vegetables, and noodles (where applicable). Portion sizes were more than generous. I won't go into individual details because I will be here all day...Suffice to say that Korea House does not cater to Western tastes and that if as authentic as you can get without hopping a flight to Korea is what you want, then don't do what Tony did (I'm Tony) and stop in for a meal.
Saying it is the best Korean food isn't fair because this mom and pop restaurant deserves to be listed among the best places to eat in Nashville. Hot plates so not the best for really young children but perfect for a lunch or dinner out with your partner.
Delicious Korean dishes and polite attentive staff! I can't wait to come back to try out other dishes!
