Visited here a few times while visiting Nashville. Had food here one afternoon, despite being busy, I got served quickly and the wings were fab. Enjoyed a few evenings here and the place is easy to get served and has a great atmosphere.
Stumbled across this place when we were looking for outside dining. The place was busy, but we were seated right away on the rooftop. There were a couple live bands playing. The energy was great. Our waitress was awesome. She even allowed me to buy her kid rock tank top since they had none for sale. Besides the experience of if all, the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone including families with kids/teens.
Change of pace from the country music. We went on an afternoon in July. The place was busy, but not packed. I loved the setting for the band. When we arrived, the singer was on the bar, rocking. It was pretty cool. The band was excellent. Then, they let a 12 years old play. The place went mad and filled very quickly. Even the manager seemed surprised at this kid's ease on stage and with the guitar. He ended up playing for 4 songs I believe, but he was highly acclamated. We had expensive beers ;-) , but by that point, we came to understand that this was HK highway! At least those are not diluted. People around us were friendly and nice, even if the dance floor was filled with bachelorettes!
Went here early evening and it was pretty busy, but we were able to get a table. We really liked that there were different floors with different bands to choose from. The food looked good, although we just had drinks. We enjoyed the drinks, a little bit pricey for the size, but pretty much what you would expect. Loved the band we listened to. Everyone seemed to be having a great time. All ages of people and super fun to people watch!
Overall first time there I enjoyed it. Very packed with people but live entertainment is good. Other than them begging for tips, though. Granted I know people say they don’t get paid much. But, I tipped them and got hit up 3 more times. Was a little extreme. But all good they are doing what they can and they were a good band.Menu had some decent apps, salads and mainly burgers. I had options to choose from as I can be picky.The bar has had a lot of activity so it isn’t the cleanest place. Broken in I suppose. It would be what I expect for a busy happening joint in Nashville.Server was great, despite having a lot of tables Layla was on top of it. She took care of us well.Was good I’d go back again.
Review every check!!!! Bartenders change pricing on same beer/drink ordered multiple times. In addition, count change as we were short changed numerous times and had to bring to the attention of the bartender who then gave us attitude!!
I've read a lot of negative reviews of Kid's bar and can tell you simply it's just a matter of when you go there. If you go at a time when they are not stupid busy like we did, it is an awesome place to go- probably the best on Broadway. We went on a Thursday in July and got there around 6 or 630pm. It was busy but very manageable and not 9 or 10pm kind of busy. The later you go, it gets busier and busier to where it is stupid busy and not enjoyable. So go there at an earlier timeframe and it is just awesome. Drinks were not unreasonably priced. Every level of the bar was great. Bands were great... some great country and some great rock and roll. It was 100F the day we went and we stayed nice and cool in Kid Rocks Honkey Tonk. Great place and very glad we went when we did! Loved it!!
Enjoyed the music a lot at this place. Four floors of music options. The rooftop bar was great for a more relaxed atmosphere, but the first floor definitely had the best music. Drink options could improve.
Had a great time here, they have food, drinks and always putting on a country show whether it's upstairs or downstairs. Great place to go to party or relax depending on your mood.
My wife and i went to Kid Rock for music with another couple and were having a great time. The band was great and we were having a good time. Then 3 young men and a couple women started pushing us around and getting in our faces. We politely told them we were there to just have a good time and didn't want any trouble, but they only got more aggressive until the other gentleman i was with ( an off duty policeman ) had to physically restrain one of the men. We then left the bar . A security guard was clueless to what was going on. I told him to start doing his job or there was going to be a major fight!!!
