This place used to be the best, now it's the best when it's open. More often than not, it's closed, and there's no sign to indicate if it's been shut down permanently or if the open hours--which were fairly narrow anyway--have tightened even more. Four out of the last five times I've stopped for lunch, it's been lights out with no explanation. One day they'd been open but were closing early because they were out of rice. (What?) Another day I couldn't get a salad because the one person who knows how to make the dressing was out sick. (One guy holds the secret recipe? C'mon, it's salad dressing.) But it's been downhill for months, and I hate that because this was a five-star stop with great tasting, fresh sushi at a really nice price. Now it's . . . abandoned.
I love this place, but sometimes it’s disappointing that I come and they are closed hours before scheduled, 2 days in a row. Please update your hours.

Best value for sushi downtown
I went here almost once a week for my freshman and sophomore year and I haven’t been able to find better sushi anywhere else in Nashville.
Fantastic sushi for a great price! Super friendly staff. Great stop for a lunch break, grab your food which is made when you order so be patient and then grab a table in the arcade and enjoy!

The Beef bulgogi is delicious! The service is usually good too. Great place to grab lunch if you’re in a rush in the downtown area. You get a nice size portion for the price too.
Sometimes it can be a little cold if you order a fried roll cuz they get so busy, but seriously still worth it. Great sushi.
