This food was ordered by Empire distributors as an appreciation to their workers, the pulled chicken I received was terribly hard, and dry. Some of the sauce saved a few pieces. Another co worker had dry turkey. There were multiple orders, maybe other co workers will write their own reviews of what they experienced. Very disappointing. The Maccaroni and cheese was fresh and delicious though, the chicken had a good flavor as well, just not fresh.
Great food!! The ribs were fantastic and the macaroni tasted like homemade!!
Found this place just scrolling through the restaurants on Google maps. Glad I came here. The outside is nice and inside is clean. Server came quick quickly, was attentive, and food came shortly after. Food was excellent. I like how they sell some sauces and mixes for their biscuits at the front.Definitely will go again.
Reservations for 1.. Happy 4th to me!! I had a taste for bbq and catfish, so I ordered both! Today was an extremely busy day for this restaurant and I commend how LaKenzie the manager handled everything as I watched, with such short staff. He took care of tables, took to go orders, cleaned, made drinks and took care of checks. The cook even came out to start drink orders.When I walked in it was a 30 min wait and the young lady who mentioned she was off 2 hrs prior to 5 stayed to help seat as many walking as she could.Once I was seated but Tyrone who was the host and my server. He was amazing, he maintained giving that professional experience to each table, as it was only him and 1 other server.He smiled after completing a table of 20s order and even took time to joke about how much food I ordered ? . Well I was starving, it was a lazy day but this holiday isn’t complete without bbq,corn, greens etc., it was a great experience with this group! Proud of their hard work and most of all their teamwork was amazing. Cooks taking orders, and cleaning and taking out to go orders. Manager, LaKenzie going over and beyond with a great attitude and short staff, while multi tasking. And Tyrone customer service looked flawless. Thank you and your work did NOT go unnoticed.
We walked passed by chance, and thought we would dine in. I found the restaurant to be clean and tidy and our server was nice and prompt to assist us. The food was nice but somewhat average, I felt the brisket was a little dry but the sauces covered that up a little. I didn't want a super sweet drink so our server recommended half unsweetened Iced tea and half peach ice tea, it was the perfect combination. I would go back if ever in the area again.
This was my second try and will be my last. I ordered a combo. The ribs were tough and flavorless. The pulled pork was OK but not outstanding. They were out of white wine (?!) so I ordered the red. The bottle had obviously been sitting open too long or had been allowed to warm, because the wine was skunky and undrinkable. The waitress was nice and the complimentary cheese biscuits are good. But this is not a cheao restaurant, and overall the experience was disappointing.
I came through the drive thru on June 13, 2022. Late afternoon. (Monday) I thought is odd that there were no other cars in the parking lot that time of day. Just employee vehicle. Decided to go ahead and eat there. A heavy set girl took my order and my bank card. She was gone long enough to get all the information off my card and then return it. Anyway, 24 hours later, I was alerted by my bank that someone was using my bank card info, to play a online gambling site. They caught it but not before they took over $700.00 from my account. Which I will get back because I filed a report with fraud detection services. They saw the last place I used my card at and it was at this restaurant that I had never ate At before.
Jim 'N Nick's is 50 minutes from me and worth the drive. The BBQ is amazing I often get the brisket or Carolina pulled pork, but my favorite is their hand battered chicken tenders. They also have the best collard greens I have ever had at a restaurant. They also have amazing fresh made daily lemonade. If you are looking for great BBQ this is the place.

Sorry, but I genuinely have never eaten such APPALLING ribs. tasteless, undercooked and fatty. AVOID if you want real ribs. All of Cool Springs restaurants were packed full on a saturday night. This place was empty. I should have got the clue!
