Special place, delicious meals, and a wonderful reminder of how food and community go hand-in-hand. It is so very nice to gather here. I never get past ordering the fried chicken, but maybe someday I’ll branch out!Congratulations to the Myint family on creating such a sweet experience for their diners.
My girlfriend’s parents took us here and we ended up splitting 6-7 dishes. I couldn’t find one thing to complain about if I tried. The ingredients are fresh, the food is flavorful, and the service is lovely (thank you Jordan). The seasonal menu had some delicious dishes, which were prepared elegantly and creatively. A modest gem of a restaurant. I know I’ll be back.
Extensive gluten free and vegan menu options. This is one of the best places I have ever eaten. The gluten free fried chicken was absolutely amazing. I also had the spring rolls and my daughter had the chicken soup. Everything was amazing and the service was awesome. One of my new favorite places.
This is the new location, opened across the street from the original grocery store. The second generation of the family is doing great at the very difficult job of balancing folks' expectations based on the prior business (which was the first taste of Thai food for Nashvillians in the 1970s and 80s) with the desire to update the menu with a focus on lesser known Thai specialties and local ingredients. They've continued to offer some of the dishes that are a bit more Americanized alongside other Thai dishes and also some really fun twists on Thai food (note this is not the same thing as early 2000s fusion...more like how chefs in more diverse markets for Asian food in LA and NY are able bring their skills to innovate on traditional dishes without getting mired in debates about authenticity.) Everything I've had there so far has been delicious and I'm really excited about what's to come!
Enjoyed our lunch here and would definitely come back. I ordered the lettuce wraps and they were delicious! Lots of fresh flavors and herbs - maybe a tad too much raw onion. My husband ordered the rice bowl salad with pork and loved it! We also tried two items from the steam bar - eggplant curry and potato croquettes - both very flavorful. Good service overall and a sweet Asian woman at the steam bar helped us make decisions on what to order.
Great food and even better people. Miss Patti would be so proud.
Delicious flavors and great service!
One of the BEST meals we have ever had in Nashville. Stop here first before a roadway sucks you in and you forget about the gem! You will not be sorry! I will forever crave every dish I had including the half chicken and sum thum Thai with the spring rolls, frech fries and trout bites!!! MUST EAT HERE!
So, so happy it’s open! The food is as delicious as ever and I love the space as well - such a wonderful tribute to the original. We miss Patti but are so happy her children are keeping this wonderful restaurant alive!
Being thankful not only shows good manners, but a simple expression of thankfulness can go a long way in relationships and communication with others. It not only enhances our own lives, but makes other people feel appreciated,
