If you’re considering taking your family to IHOP because it “sounds fun” or like a novel idea and you don’t typically frequent IHOP. Don’t go, just don’t even bother. We arrived and had to wait 5 minutes (an actual 5 minutes) to be sat because there was no one at the front desk. There were only two tables in the entire restaurant. We arrived at 8 am. I don’t think it was unreasonable to expect to be sat swiftly (I should have let that be a sign). Once acknowledged, I asked to sit outside because my kids are loud. I was met with attitude. So I asked for a quiet booth away from people so my children wouldn’t impede on their experience. We were sat at a table that was used and had already been eaten at with a coffee carafe that was used. It wasn’t even clean. There were 50 other tables??? The high chairs were disgusting, the entire restaurant was filthy. So I quickly ordered the kids meals (3 meals) to get them fed and asked to order mine instead few minutes. The server never came back until he brought the kids meals, but alas only two made it. I worked in food service for 10+ years and always wrote down my orders. If you don’t write down the order, and don’t get it right, don’t give me attitude. Then finally my food comes, and it’s literally cold. Cold eggs, cold hash browns, cold eggs. Also the coffee was hardly warm in the carafe. I also ordered avocado. Never came. By the time I realized I was wasting time with 3 unruly kids after they’d mostly eaten I got up to leave, it took 10 minutes between that decision to leave to pay and finally saw my avocado nonchalantly coming out. I would like to say this experience was a complete waste of time & money. I never leave complaints! But this was worth the complaint. 0 stars for cleanliness, service, food quality, expectation, super gross.
me and my fiancé went for breakfast and everything was great til i looked down and saw this black spot on my pancakes. it looked like an ant to me and i asked him what he thought cause i didn’t want to jump to conclusions & it could’ve just been a burnt end on the pancakes. upon further examination, it WAS an ant. i talked to the shift leader, who wanted to just take the pancakes off the bill, but i ordered a whole combo not just the pancakes. he then talked to the GM and he/she decided to cover the bill completely. i am disgusted and appalled by this and i can only imagine what is going on with the cleanliness of the restaurant in its entirety. i will not be back to this location anymore & i recommend you do the same.
No one even came to greet me I stood by the front desk for 5mins, then a lady came out to talk to party of 3 saying it would be a few more minutes and they already waited 25, young man came to pick up call in waited 45 minutes and ended up getting his money back, very rude and unorganized people working in Nashville west today ,and only had people at 4 tables when I was seated.. long haired manager wasn't a people person either, they all need to get a handle on customer service ?
While waiting for my husband to get out of surgery my daughter and I decided to have breakfast at this IHOP as google said it was the closest to the VA hospital. It was 8am and we were the only ones in thr restaurant. My food came out cold so I asked for it to be placed in the microwave. When it came back it was still cold. I'm confident my server just walked to the back looked at my food and just brought back the same plate. When I left here I went to McDonald's as I was still hungry. I had literally been the only person there so not sure what happened. But it was to early to argue and another party came in as we were finishing and just so happened to pay for our food. Won't be going back to this location.
I have a hard time finding a good omelet. They r normally small. This place has great omelets. They just started an omelet menu. So far I love it. Looking forward to coming again. Miley was great. She gave her opinion. She even told me how good something looked even though she hadn't tried it yet
Server was very friendly and food was great. Overall pleasant experience and will go back. Only some minor complaints. My drink wasn't refilled as often as I would have liked and the food took a while to come.
Roaches in the pancakes. This place is nasty and should be shutdown. The wait staff was nonexistent and the food they brought out was the nastiest thing I’ve ever seen. I didn’t expect top tier food or service when I decided to eat at ihop but this is just another level of unacceptable.
This was the worst IHOP I’ve ever eaten at!! There were 3 in my party that came into this IHOP, and we’re seated, having to wait for more than 30 minutes for even a drink order! The restaurant was not busy at all, and the waitresses were openly discussing whose booth it was to serve…We finally got our food ordered, but the waitress messed up the order, and one of our orders had to be re ordered, with our person waiting even longer to get their food! The waitress forgot about our pancakes, and when we finally got them they were so cold that the butter wouldn’t melt!My friend got his meal for free, but the other 2 meals we had to pay for! They should have “comped” us for all our meals!Will never return to this restaurant again!!!!
Went here today, 02/20/2022 and me and my sister order a salad and water. On the menu the salad states it had avocado with it but there was no avocado. I understand that we have shortages however someone like our waiter could have said something. It took use like a 1hour and 20 minutes just to order, eat, and getting the check?¿! I paid with cash, because I knew it would maybe take 35 minutes just to get my debt card back. Needless to say, it wasn’t worth the 20.95.I could have gone to subway instead.
It was National Pankcake Day...so I had to order Pancakes. They were the best I have ever had. Bacon was a positive addition ! My husband had a combo breakfast and enjoyed it as well. First time at the Charlotte location. Everyone was friendly. The facility was especially clean and neat. I will definitely return
