The guy that took my order could not speak English. I explained I did not want rice and I got rice. Since he didn’t speak English I couldn’t explain why it was wrong. I was charged extra for the request though. Misunderstanding… maybe but we will never know.
The sushi was amazing, and we only had to wait about 5 minutes. 10/10 would eat again
It’s great. I have the Crunchy Spicy Tune Roll or the Crunchy Spicy Salmon Roll. These are perfect. I’m not a cream cheese on my roll person but the avocado, cucumber, meat, fried onion chips and spicy mayo is awesome and that’s what I like! The roll has about 10 pieces and for $9 I think it’s a good deal! You order, they take your cell number and in less than 10 minutes you are sent a text that it’s ready. Now I need to venture out and try some of the other items on their menu. Enjoy folks!!
Got sushi here at the Assembly Hall and was impressed! We got the Tempura roll and it was large in size and very high quality, fresh and delicious. Would recommend!
We stopped here inside Assembly Food Hall before the predators game at Bridgestone Arena and it was conveniently located. The service was quick. They text you when your sushi is done which is very convenient because you can walk around. The food was super fresh. Highly recommend and would eat here again.
Fast service and good food. Portions were a bit small, yet touristy pricey. At least it’s something healthy in a town bombarded with BBQ, hot chicken and donuts.

The tasty sushi at Horu was a nice surprise in the middle of Nashville.I ordered the Ahi tuna tower (pictured) Spicy tuna crispy rice and the Rainbow roll.The person taking my order was welcoming and the guys making your sushi are fast and professional. The only negative is they can't sell alcohol so no Saporo Beer to go with your sushi or at least some sake? But that may not be their choice. They do sell different sodas and water.The ingredients seem fresh and very tasty and the food presentation was very well done.
Service was good and the food came out reasonably quick for how many people were there. Unfortunately I did not like either of my items. I ordered the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice and the Edamame with Spicy Garlic Sauce. The Tuna was very bland and didn't go well with the crispy rice. The edamame did not have any garlic and instead appeared to be covered in sweet chili sauce. Overall I paid $20 and ate 2 pieces of the Tuna and 4 edamame before it became too sweet. I will not be returning.
If i could give a 0, I would. My entire family ordered from four different restaurants at Assembly Food Hall and was finished eating long before I even got my food. If you’re in a hurry, go elsewhere. Will never eat here again, which I don’t think they’re too concerned about.
