I was there over the past week and saw the cook cutting steaks drop them on the floor pick them up and use them. Wait staff using there fingers to taste food. Bo one washing there hands after cleaning dirty dishes and cook using the same pair of gloves after cleaning the coals out of the grill and move on to cutting steaks. If you value your health stay away there are much better offerings in the area.
Wife and I's 17 year anniversary and I tried to call and make a reservation but they require you to text so I did. We arrive and they had no record of our reservation so we sat at the bar because "there were no tables". 20 minutes later the owners family came in and she told them she could get them a table. Instead they sat at the bar. Owner never once asked us how things were while sitting 5ft away from us. Thanks for ruining the dining experience of our 17 year anniversary. Won't be back but I will say the food was decent.
Arrived to have brunch with family for a birthday gathering to be told we couldn’t bring our own birthday cake unless we paid $2.50 per person to eat it (even though we didn’t need plates or silverware) but we could buy one. Wasn’t aware you all had cakes but when you don’t have a website…..What menu we could find online talked about specialty waffles for Sunday brunch but not that day. Also no bacon nor carbonated drinks. This was my first and last visit all in one trip.
The service was extremely friendly and welcoming from the hostess/manager to the wonderful waitress! The salad bar was terrific with so many options to choose from. The steak was delicious and cooked to perfection! We enjoyed our stay immensely!
The service was excellent at this restaurant from the time we walked in until we left! Very good waitress Stephanie and I spoke with the manager when we were leaving who was excellent too! Very friendly! The salad bar was huge with lots of offerings! The steak was excellent and cooked as requested!
Great food. Great ambiance. Great service. Our group of six had ribeye, salmon, shrimp, lamb chop, and filet along with the bubble bread and fried pickles. It was all delectable. Recommend!
So much potential! Almost great little local place if steak is the only thing you plan to eat. The salmon was unavailable with the pesto, nor was the asparagus. Opted for the chicken with seasonal vegetables which ended up being frozen Brussels sprouts. The only option for a vegetarian is the salad bar which is a throwback like much of the decor and very pleasant. We had early reservations (6:30) on a Friday night and the parking lot was empty when we left over an hour later with half of my husband's steak in a doggy box. It felt like we got the "early bird" leftovers and maybe they were saving the fresh stuff for the real customers who were coming later. Three stars for our outstanding wait staff and bartender. Not sure if we will text in reservations again. Bizarre experience but my husband liked his steak!
Steak is WAY over priced. It was good, but not worth $40. Small salad bar. They make a strong jack and coke though.
Service was good, food was fantastic. Had reservations for Christmas Eve and were seated immediately. Decorated beautifully for the holidays.
Don’t judge it’s book by its cover. This place in the inside looks like a beautiful, rustic cabin. It gives a very cozy and warm kind of feel. It was my first time here and I’m glad my husband and I stopped here. I had the best birthday dinner! They asked for a reservation but we didn’t have one. We waited about 15-20 min. on a Saturday evening in a cozy waiting area with a bar and beautiful Christmas tree before our table was ready. The salad bar is absolutely fresh! Everything was very yummy. Make room for dessert. This is a very special place. I have found my streak house! My husband and I just moved from Florida and Texas Roadhouse was our to go place for steaks. But The Hermitage Steakhouse is 10x better. The steaks just melt in your mouth with lots of flavor!
