Can someone say hot and fresh!!! Went here and got the medium chicken!!! Chicken was so fresh out the grease and hot (heat and spice). Wait staff was very attentive and amazing! Wait times were very minimal! Will definitely come back!!
Spoiler alert. This chicken was HOT ? Everything was fresh. Even though there was a little bit of a line, the service was quick! Our bro running the register was professional, funny, and super helpful/kind (First time guests like us need help)! Thanks, JD! You the man! ? Stop by if you are in Nashville!
Absolutely delicious food and the service was on point. The chicken is perfectly "hot" and the sides were ALL good. The banana pudding is amazing. I highly recommend of it!
Great chicken tenders! They are not dry at all in fact they are very juicy for being fried. The portion is a great one with enough fries, chicken, pickles and 2 sides of your choice. Drove from Texas to have them! Would definitely recommend!
Definitely a more ‘commercial’ chicken shack compared to the more authentic places around Nashville like Bolton’s or Granddaddy’s… but it’s a lot more put together and inviting, and the heat is quite mild. If you want a good burn, go with “damn hot” and “shut the cluck up”… because “hot” is not going to do it for you.Pimento mac and cheese was very creamy and is a great side.
We are from New Mexico, (Albuquerque) So We LOVE Our Spicy Food There, and I Have To Say That when We Ordered Our Food Both Of Us Were Thinking, OH Yeah These People In Nashville They Don't Even know about Real Spicy Food. WOW WAS I EVER WRONG!! We Ordered 2 Orders of Shut The Cluck Up Thinking oh Yeah this isn't going to be not even very Hot! It Was Totally UNBELIEVABLY SUPER HOT!! SO I had to swallow my pride and went up to the front and told them there was no way We could eat these Chicken Tenders. We Were Totally Amazed That They Offered Us NEW CHICKEN TENDERS AND SOME ICE CREAM TO PUT OUT THE FIRE IN OUR MOUTH & STOMACH!! SO WE GIVE A HUGE SHOUT OUT TO YOU THE EMPLOYEES AND MANAGEMENT, THANK YOU SO VERY VERY MUCH. We Absolutely LOVE HATTIE B's HOT chicken!!!???????❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
We went at the peak time, and waited for close to an hour but the wait was worth it. The chicken spice was evenly balanced and over the top delicious. I am so glad we stopped and tried the hot chicken at Hattie B's. Line moves quick, so enjoy the wait by people watching.
The food was good! Had to wait in line for about 20 minutes to get our order in and to a table. We bought one chicken strip with the cluckin hot sauce and all I can say is "Ouch!".
We ate lunch at Hattie B 's because we saw the long line out the door and down the street and figured it must be good. We ordered the Southern fried quarter chicken and "hot" chicken tenders. The sides we got were the baked beans, fries, grits, and cole slaw. All were excellent. The chicken was moist, juicy, and not greasy at all!
A relative recently moved to the area and wanted to try Hattie B's. The line is always out the door. We went at opening, which I would recommend. Our wait in line was about 10-15 minutes. The service was great! The people who took our order and delivered it to the table were both kind and attentive. A manager was constantly on the floor cleaning and checking on customers. We ordered of mild chicken, medium, and hot with sides. It was good, but we all agreed that it isn't something we would wait in a long line for. The macaroni and cheese and cole slaw were just okay. Maybe our expectations were a little high because of the anticipation?? In any case, it was something to try once. For faster service, I would suggest ordering it to go.
