We passed through Nashville recently so we would love to try their hot chicken. Hattie B was highly recommended by hotel staff. We decided to give it a try. We drove to its Midtwon location but we didn't stay due to a long waiting line outside on Saturday. We decided to try Melrose location instead. The line was shorter but we still had to wait 30 minutes before we could order our food. The fried chicken was delicious and well cooked. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. The price was reasonable. The restaurant was clean and staff were friendly. I would highly recommended Hattie B if you are in Nashville.

WOW!! Loved this place!! We arrived at 11:05 and there was already a line out the door! Service was very efficient and all the staff we encountered were so friendly! We met Lisa, one of the managers, who was wonderful—-she stopped by to check on us, bring us take-home containers and even cleared our table :) The food was fresh and delicious—our table ordered chicken tenders, wings, peach cobler, and waffles…everything was great!! Put this on your list of “Must Eat”!!

The hot chicken sandwich and pimento mac & cheese are delicious! The wait is completely worth the food and service. The staff are amazing too. A must go to in Nashville!

In a city with hot chicken experts, Hattie B's reigns supreme. The chicken was juicy and flavorful even without the well seasoned skin. The various spice levels allow you to be as bold or safe as you desire. The fries were piping hot, crispy, and light. The Belgian waffles are made with a thicker batter and not too sweet. There were craft beer and hard cider on tap and unlimited lemonade and soft drink refills (Get the lemonade). The atmosphere was lively and casual with top 40 and classic hits playing in the background. The staff was friendly and helpful with menu selections, since it was our first time eating there.Food service was quick even with the dinner rush on a Friday night. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. There was ample seating indoors and outdoors and free parking in their private lot (approx. 16 spaces). We chose the Melrose location to beat the craziness of downtown Nashville but we still got the energetic vibe without the hassle. We will definitely be back.

Hattie B's is hands down the best Nashville chicken! Have been multiple times and never disappointed. Food is always fresh and on point! If you're visiting or new in town this is a must stop. In fact the food is so good I forgot to take a picture of it!!Side note - get here early. There is always a line but it's worth the wait!

We arrived at 12:30 on a Friday and the line stretched across the parking lot. It was a 40 minute wait, but a nice waitress was taking drink orders and running them back and forth to patrons. The atmosphere is very casual and the service is great. The chicken sandwich was above average, but not amazing enough to constitute the hype. We got the medium sandwich and an order of hot tenders. The fries were excellent ?. If you want to feel the kick, go with the hot, the medium wasn't enough. We also added a touch of salt which helped with the balancing of all the pepper spices.

This chicken was delicious and hot. It’s not the best Nashville hot I’ve had but it’s up there. The baked beans were delicious and the spice level was appropriately scaled. I got the hot and I had a little upper lip/top of the head sweat going on which is about right as I see it. There were two levels higher damn hot and shut the cluck up. Overall I would eat here again.

Walked up to the counter and told the young lady we wanted to experience Nashville’s Hot Chicken so what should we order. She suggested the Nashville Hot tenders. We did and chose two sides (collard greens and cheddar/bacon grits) as well ! OMG absolutely amazing. Hot, but manageable for those like me that aren’t into super spicy food. Tender and juicy. The sides were good too. Parking is tight, but fortunately we were able to find a spot. So glad we didn’t leave Nashville without this experience!

We've been to Hattie B's in Vegas before, but this was our first time visiting on in Nashville. We enjoyed our meal on the patio with our pug! Great food, and fantastic customer service!

I had the damn hot and the shut the cluck up. I highly recommend whatever is your highest heat tolerance on the _white_ meat where the meat itself helps pace you. I also rate their white pieces slightly better than their dark pieces, but that's preference. As for the sides they were all so so good. If I had to choose a favorite, I'd go with the cole slaw, then the pimiento mac and cheese, then the black eyed peas. On another day, with another alignment of the stars, I'd do the black eyed peas first. A third alignment and I'd do the pimiento mac and cheese first.Do a half bird if you can eat two pieces. Always always always get a lemonade.
