Only one guy was doing everything up front and he was really good at juggling all of the things with all of the tables! The salsa is hot, but tasty! The food was pretty good and presented beautifully. The rice wasn’t very good though ?♀️
This place is amazing! Refreshing to have black beans and corn instead of refried beans! Service was great too, very friendly

Cannot remember if I have posted a review of this place. But if so, I will do it again! This place is such a gem in the heart of Donelson. The atmosphere is very peaceful, the service is always wonderful, and of course - the food is amazing every single time. We have been here at least 6 or 7 times and have never had a bad experience. Cannot forget the margaritas - they are some of my favorite ones in town!
Quite a delightful find! Nice, and diverse menu. Great quality of the meats we tried, the barbacoa and the chicken. The chimichanga was not overdone, and had great flavor. Upgrade it with a cheese sauce! Chips greeted us, and were ample and tasty. It was a Tuesday evening, and there was a good flow of customers, and only two staff we could identify, yet they kept up with the customers, and with quality food. I'd gladly visit from out of town again.
Great little spot for some great mexican cuisine! Only reason not 5 stars is because i ordered a chicken quesadilla for an appetizer that never came. And heads up the complimentary salsa is a bit spicy ?

This was an unexpected surprise! We don't get to Donelson often, and we chose Habanero Grill based on a little quick research. Loved it! It's an unassuming little spot, but the food is really good. I'm a fan of mole, and always happy to see it on a menu. It was a good sauce. Everything we had was good.I also appreciate when a Mexican restaurant isnt afraid to out a little heat in the salsa, especially when the name is Habanero Grill. It didnt disappoint.We started with the ceviche. I had enchiladas, my wife had tamales, and our guest had fish tacos. Everyone left happy. This is a strong recommend for a neighborhood restaurant that really delivers elevated Mexican.
I am from Texas near Dallas and this was some of the best food ever. You know coming from a Texas that is high praise for Mexican food. This place does not look fancy driving up but inside is beautiful, the staff knowledgeable and friendly and the food is great!If you are in Nashville, go try it!
