If I could rate higher, I would!!This place is a gem! Total dive/hole-in-the-wall, but OMG their burgers AWESOME! Staff is super friendly and the place has a cool, laid back vibe. Lots of options for burgers, toppings, sauces and their fries are great! If I didn't live 9 hours away, I'd come here all the time!!
Who doesn't love the local, personable burger joint? I went here for the burger and left for the fries. What I mean is that the burger was good, but I was a bit disappointed by the fact the bun was cold. By contrast, I was swept away by the sweet potato fries. I really am not a big fry eater, but those fries were AMAZING. Also, the free dipping sauces were a fun addition. Staff was really friendly, and I loved how they had pictures of all of their previous employees. That seemed to exemplify their approach to life. I would happily go back on my next visit to Nashville!
Tried Gabby's for the first time today and the food was great (I got the Seamus), but what really makes this place exception is the staff! By far the friendliest and most helpful service I have experienced in Nashville. You get the felling that the employees actually enjoy their job. I can't wait to come back!
Great burgers and hand cut fries.The sweet potato fries were even good! I'm not a fan of sweet potatoes if that tells you anything. Very friendly and informative staff. I love little spots like this. Try Gabby's if you're a burger guy/gal. You won't be disappointed.
There's a reason this spot has been voted best burger in nashville year over year ? we got the BBQ burger, the Gabby burger, and the Seamus burger - they were all delicious. You can't go wrong! OH, and make sure you get the sweet potato fries. They should get an award for this too - thick, sweet, crunchy and so so do yummy. We love this burger spot!
Gabby’s is the best burger in Nashvie. But it’s also big happy family that welcomed me in years ago. I enjoy eating at the counter to interact with the staff. My go to is normally the monthly special or a BBQ grilled chicken with pepper jack on grilled wheat bun. When I forget to ask for a grilled bun Margaret asks “Brian did you want your bun grilled?” They learn your name so they can call you by name.
This place is a small restaurant with fantastic service and friendly workers. The food is fresh, made to order, and the quality is out of this world. You definitely want to grab a burger here!
Absolutely fantastic. Energetic crew with a lot of personality. Fresh ingredients, excellent burger, and fresh cut fries, sweet or potato. I also noticed that they have milk shakes, and that they are not chemical concoctions, but real words that you do not need a degree to understand.Tennessee has always been a favorite of mine, and Gabby’s is just one more reason to go. Thanks for the great experience.
Where have you been my whole life!??!? I normally can’t eat at places like this because of an anaphylactic allergy to paprika; however, after talking with the Gabbys Burger team, they not only accommodated my allergy, it was practically a non-issue with most of their food.Between the amazing humor of the whole crew, the fast BUT amazingly delicious Seamus burger, sweet potato fries and fruit tea…I WAS IN HEAVEN. Try the wasabi Mayo with the sweet potato fries-it will NOT disappoint. Such a great team taking pride in what they create. You can taste the love in their food!!!! Ok this place is a gem. Every time I go here it’s always the same smiling happy staff ready to make your order. It’s an experience. Don’t go if you want that cookie cutter burger bar. This one you can sit at the grill counter and joke with the staff as they make order. Parking is limited.
