Visiting friends in West Nashville and came here twice, once for breakfast (dined in) and once for lunch (takeout). What we liked: very cute aesthetic inside. The drinks were great - coffee and the honey I’m home cocktail were both delicious. The food is quite good, seems to be mostly fresh ingredients. We had the grit bowl with eggs and kale added, the huevos rolandos, the bungalow salad with chicken, and the kale caesar with chicken. While the grits could’ve been more flavorful, the dish was overall pretty good with some hot sauce added. The huevos rolandos had plenty of flavor. The Caesar was dressing heavy, but good, while the bungalow was mostly lettuce, some of which started to turn. What wasn’t so great: it took forever to get my latte - probably came 20 mins after my husbands coffee - and a long time to order breakfast. then even longer to get our food, even though we ordered before the rush came in. The food was good, but a long time for some eggs. We were in a bit more of a hurry when we got lunch a few days later, so we ordered it to go. This was ready faster, however the servings were ridiculous. We both paid more to have the large size salads, but they looked like side salads. We also paid more for grilled chicken to be added on, and there was maybe 1oz of chicken on each salad. It looks like they took one serving of meat and split it up over multiple orders. Overall we paid $40 for two to go salads that were worth about $10 total. My husband immediately went and got a sandwich elsewhere because his salad was so small. This was very frustrating. Breakfast came to just over $100 for two egg dishes, two coffees, and two cocktails after tip.So, while the food is pretty good, it is definitely overpriced and you won’t get much value for your money.

I absolutely loved the coffee we ordered here. My favorite was the standard Vanilla Latte - one of the best ones I've had. We sat done for breakfast one morning and ordered coffees and food. The waitress we had certainly wasn't the greatest, it seemed like she was purposely avoiding eye contact every time she passed the table :P We weren't in a rush so we weren't bothered, but man... I had to get up and ask for our check once we were ready. All the staff was very nice there. I'm sure they have their bad days with high traffic times. I'd still go back for coffee!

Had breakfast there one morning when we were in town. Was good, but had to return my first plate because there was a hair in it. Honestly not impressed with the different coffees my wife and I had either, but I wouldn't let our experience stop someone from trying it because it seems like a popular place probably for locals.

Cute place! Thought they had just coffee but it was a whole restaurant sort of deal. Ordered two lattes and some food to go. The wait was short and our drinks were great! Enjoyed my coffee so much I purchased 2 bags of beans to go.Highly recommend and will return.

Ive never hated a coffee shop/breakfast place more. We tried to grt coffee and a simple breakfast item from their to go spot. It wasnt crazy busy there so we were shocked at how long we waited for our drinks. And no clue about our food because the simple bagel wasnt even out by the time we decided to just walk out. Which was weird because the guys making our drinks were just goofing around. Ill just stick to 8th and roast much better food, service and drinks. Or the bagel shop. So many better places that care.

We showed up with a large group and thought they would turn us away but they welcomed us with open arms and were so nice. Our waitress was the best person ever and was so quick. Our food came out in less then 15 minutes and she always kept our drinks filled. She even offered to take a group photo of us and made our day with how nice she was.

Great food! Very nice staff! ?

Went in around 11:30 and was offered seating for 2 on the patio. After ordering, we went out there and found that there were no seats. There were, however, two tables of people who were just waiting for inside tables to become available. We stood until a table became available.Food was good, even though all pastries were gone but one. "16 oz" draft cold brew was served chocked full of ice...would have been better off getting the 12 oz can. For the price I expected better overall experience...although the wait staff was very good.

Definitely one of the best frothy locations. Always great coffee!

Normally, frothy monkey is a solid experience. Always good, never bad - but never great either; HOWEVER, on this occasion I had an unusually talented barista. I told the barista to make whatever he wanted and the drink was unequivocally phenomenal. It was like magic in a cup topped with perfectly symmetrical and contrasted latte art. It made the works of Michelangelo in the Sistine Chapel feign in comparison to the vast depth of skill sitting atop my cup. believe the baristas name was Eric Chandler. If I could give my experience more than 5 stars I would. The nations location is an additional 10 minutes further from my house but I’d come back to experience this again. Big shoutout to Eric.
