It's time to get this party started! #BurgerWeek is on and my first stop was Fido! I've been a Bongo fan for a long time but have never been to Fido so I definitely took advantage of the opportunity to visit them for The Burgerito! Such a fun place! Nice servers and food! We got the breakfast burrito & the pancakes (chefs kiss) as well as a salad off the lunch/dinner menu!
Fairly limited breakfast menu with no traditional sweet options (pancakes, waffles, French toast). No sides of bacon or sausage.The bagel breakfast sandwich was average. Better than McDonald’s but nothing to get excited about.Coffee was great!Chorizo omelette was a chef’s specialty and we were told it could NOT be modified. How hard would it be for them to skip the sour cream and salsa?
Great place for brunch, thoroughly enjoyed their freshly cooked meal. Will be back soon.
Very friendly staff and loved the atmosphere. My coffee (Local Latte) was delicious. I enjoyed the avocado toast for the most part but grapes mixed with hot sauce in the same bite was a little too weird for me. I will still give my visit five stars despite what I would call an odd breakfast order…Still would recommend for a coffee or breakfast/brunch spot. I will definitely return someday for more coffee & possibly another (different) breakfast item!
Super cute lil cafe/eatery, staff was all masked and very friendly. The check out process was very quick. Overall, the environment was cool and laid back, even though the place was kind of busy. They had a lot of vegan and vegetarian options. I got the croissant sandwich, which I did have to kind of deconstruct to eat - it was very tall. And for some reason the pastry itself was tough.I wasn't "wow"ed by anything here, but if I were in that part of town again, I would stop in for lunch. I liked sitting at the window and people watching. :)
My friend made me chiliquiles a while ago and now i have to try them everywhere i go. The ones at Fido's are awesome, i wish they had some sort of meat with it though, but i hardly noticed.Gf got the pancakes and really enjoyed the sweet mascarpone cream, I'd never tasted anything like it before. Coffee was good and vibe was on point. Saw some doggos out front at the outdoor seating and all of the staff was wearing masks. Would come back if i ever find myself in Nashville again
We are visiting from Toledo, OH. We are owners of a Mexican Restaurant back home. FIDOS is not a Mexican Restaurant. Normally I don’t order anything advertised with Latino flares or Mexican if it’s not a Mexican ( Latino) restaurant.I took my chances today and had no regrets. Ordered Petes special. Eggs with Chorizo, Green Salsa and other goodies. It came with potatoes as well. Very delicious and bursting with flavor. Traditional? No. But Sabroso ( Delicious)? Si Señor!!!Oh, My girlfriend ordered Avocado Toast. Never!!! Ever!!! Have we had Avocado Toast as good as they serve here.Service is friendly and attentive. Definitely a return spot for us when we are in Nashville again.My only regret is I didn’t take a photo of my plate. But Sylvia took one of hers.Thank You Fidos! You Rock!!!
Flavor wasn’t there , nasty after taste . Pancake was okay . Cute building . Lol if you read my reviews you know when I love a good spot . This isn’t for me . But maybe for you . ?
