There were positives and negatives. The food and atmosphere were good. Some mistakes were made with our order, which could have been avoided with a simple read-back of what was ordered. Not sure if this is a Nashville thing, but we had a party of 5, however a tip was added to the bill in advance. I'm familiar with the practice, but usually for larger parties only.
Great waiter food and ambience
The positive reviews mustâve been written by a good friend. The food was very mediocre. Ambiance also. This is a small hotel restaurant with poor food. The only bright spot was the very nice server.

Hidden downtown gem! Our dinner at Ella's was so good. From appetizer, salad, entree to dessert, all delicious. The torn burrata and prosciutto appetizer was so unique and great! Good server and good vibe; not too loud and not overrun with tourists. We will be back.

Our server was very good. Appetizers were great! We had the pizzette and the whipped ricotta. For entrees we had 2 salmons and 2 chicken milanese. Beautiful presentation on everything. Food was really good. Dessert menu was not impressive. Didn't order any. Ordered wine and they came back and told us they had to go upstairs to get some and it would be a while. It was but, the wine was good as well. Parking was a little crazy but, it is downtown...

Ellaâs is truly a hidden gem that we will visit again. The food and service were both spectacular. My wife and I split our meal between two appetizers and one entree. We had the Roasted Local Beets and the Torn Burrata & Country Prosciutto. The burrata & prosciutto dish was the best appetizer we have ever experienced. Our shared entree was the Branzino. We added the Crispy Potatoes. Both were great. Service was quick and our server, Sabrina was wonderful. We look forward to our next visit. Bravo Ellaâs!
