New to Nash, I wandered in for lunch to have my first taste of local BBQ. No big crazy lines at this location (at least at lunch). Nice new building. Everything had flavor and moisture. The sides were just right. I now know the BBQ scene in this town inspires some pretty strong opinions, but this west side Edley's will always be my first love.

Friendly staff and amazing slow cooked BBQ, what more could you ask for.

Edley's has the best barbecue in Nashville, that I have experienced hands down. I sampled many different items, the ribs, the barbecue nachos, smoked wings, and the tuck special. The tuck special is a brisket sandwich with a fried egg and spicy pimento cheese topping. The sauces are great and the sides are fantastic. I highly recommend Edley's if you're looking for great barbecue.

I was visiting my niece in Nashville, and had the best BBQ food ever! I live in Florida and enjoyed the food so much, I bought the rubs and sauces to bring home! I won't get into the whole story, but the rubs were to expire too soon and I was leaving the next day. The manager, AJ went above and beyond to make sure the rubs and sauces to delivered to me, but the best part was the way he treated me and talked to me. He was so kind and showed exceptional customer service skills!! I have never had a better experience in my life with customer service! It is people like AJ that make the world a better place! You won't be disappointed in the food, and you will be surprised by the EXCEPTIONAL customer service you will receive!!

My husband and I ate lunch at Edley’s recently while visiting our daughter who lives in Nashville. This is an “order at the counter and seat yourself” place, which is fine with me. There was a small line at the order counter, but the line moved quickly. The three of us found seats on the patio which was very pleasant. A server brought us our food promptly. We all ordered different things: pulled pork nachos, smash burger, and catfish sandwich. We all enjoyed our food, but my my catfish sandwich was SPECIAL! First, the thin filets of catfish were lightly breaded with corn meal and perfectly seasoned with salt and heavy pepper—- just the way southern fried catfish is supposed to be! The sandwich was topped with delicious tartar sauce (perfectly pickle-y) plus cole slaw (tangy, not creamy and sweet). Edley’s follows the important food service rule to put condiments on a hot sandwich just moments before serving, or the wet condiments make the crispy fish soggy. WIN! Fish is easy to improperly cook, to be over breaded, to be undercooked and gelatinous, to be over cooked and dry. It is hard to find catfish “the way Mama made it,” but Edley’s nails it. I will go back every time I am in Nashville!

We love the open air atmosphere! Definitely a spot we go to and are thrilled that one is opening in our neighborhood of Donelson. Just drove by it and had a wonderful time tonight at the one on Murphy Rd in Nashville.

Great food and atmosphere. Brisket tocos are crazy good

Fantastic location. Every time I've eaten here in the food has been spot on. I usually always get the same thing and every time I get it it's exactly the same which is how I like it. They have some great sweet tea I would recommend the tux. Which is a brisket sandwich with a egg on top. Plan on paying at least $15 to $18 per person. Their sides look to be a little small because they come in cups but satisfyingly it's enough. The parking can be tough at times which is really their only downfall.

Great Nashville bar-b-que. Nice menu

Every visit from my daughter in law she has to eat here. They say the Bar b que is the best in town. I order the catfish, macaroni and cheese with banana pudding. They have a covered outdoor seating area.
