Our in-laws raved about this place and we went there to place a takeout order (for some reason, my in-laws thought they did not do takeout orders by phone). We ordered two pizzas, and in my opinion they were kind of overpriced. We waited a long time for our pizzas and had to check with the hostess to see how long it would take. In the meantime, they filled a lot of pickup orders. There is a full bar off to one side, and we saw some patrons enjoying their cocktails. The pizza was okay but not outstanding, in my opinion. I've had better, tastier pizza elsewhere. I've been spoiled by some awesome pizza places near our home.
There is great pizza in Nashville, even for a jaded New Yorker. Delano really impressed me. Staff was great and pizza dough was just right. Definitely best pizza in Nashville and since 1889!
Pizza was very good. We are going back before we leave back to California. Had to take some home to share with Mom. Going to try the calzone this time along with the pizza.
This is how pizza is supposed to be made. This was my second time at this establishment and they did not disappoint. It is an amazing experience to watch these folks make fresh pizza right before your eyes. Definitely recommend
We went on a Saturday afternoon a little before noon and there was no wait.We got the meatballs (highly recommend) and a cheese pizza, asked well done. It was super fast to get the food and the extra condiments they have are a must. I ended up making a hot oil garlic Parmesan dipping sauce and did I mention the meatballs? The pizza is delicious and a medium along with the meatballs were perfect for my husband and myself. I'll be coming back to check out another pizza (ricotta stuffed crust.....) As well as a dessert as well!
Straight forward place. Place your order, find a bench, and watch the staff work their magic. Good salad, good pizza, and good atmosphere. Nice to find local shops when traveling and not rely on the BOX stores
Walked down to this pizza place because I was conducting business in the area. 700+ reviews and 4.5 stars. It was fantastic. Meatballs were incredible. Thin pizza. Hand tossed. Great flavor. Crispy crust. Will definitely return!
I started eating here in 2014, and for years I claimed it as the best pizza in Nashville. It was! I'm sorry to say that's no longer the case, and far from it. I've given it so many shots to prove that any of the bad pizzas I've had just as one off mistakes. No, it's a sad pattern of half done and burned crust, however they make that happen. The crust is more like Indian rotis than pizza these days. I typically get the Bianca, and the ricotta, is it even ricotta anymore? What happened to the fresh basil? If y'all get your 2014-2016 bakers back in the house, hit me up because I miss their skills, otherwise I won't be back. Canolis are still on point though. So there's that. ?♀️
Great pizza. Ok prices. Salad had more meat and cheese than a large pizza. Was pretty good. Person at register was not very friendly.
If you want a great neapolitan pizza, head to DeSano Pizza Bakery. Hill makes a great pie and was super gracious with his time spent chatting with us. Definitely check them out if you haven't. Good pizza is made better by great company, so take a friend. #FoodiesOfNashville
