Can’t say enough good things about DegThai. Huge open space, came by for weekend dinner and was not too crowded. Amazing how fast food comes out but feels like you’re at a 4-5 star restaurant. Restaurant seems family run and authentic Thai, you can truly taste the love in it. Their Thai iced tea is actually the best I’ve had, and trust me this is after 20+ years in NYC and traveling through cities boasting the best (Thai) food scene. Their spicy/hot is very spicy. If you’re looking for “drink 5 glasses of water” hot, you’ll get it here! Green curry was our favorite, chicken was so tender and flavorful, perfect slight coconut flavor but not too much. Service couldn’t be better. Will be back the next time I’m in Nashtown!

Our experience at Degthai was fantastic. The food was amazing. It was freshly made and served quickly. The staff was so cheerful and helpful.I had Kra Prao Moo Kai Dao and a Thai iced tea. I ordered my meal mild thinking it would be a bit spicy based on my experience at other Thai restaurants. Mild meant no heat which I appreciated because I could then add my own spice to suit my tastes. (I’m a bit of a whimp when it comes to spicy foods.) The Thai iced tea wasn’t sickly sweet and was refreshing.The decor was fun and funky. The dining area was spacious with plenty of seating. The restrooms were clean and stocked.The food was wonderful but I can’t stress enough how warm, inviting, and friendly the staff were. They all had big smiles on their faces and were so attentive to our needs and requests. I would go back just to say, “hi.”We will definitely be back!
This was the best pad Thai I have ever had… I got it with Tofu (Lent Friday - no meat for me) and I don’t usually eat tofu so this had me AMAZED. The flavor and texture was sooo good, I am craving just the tofu itself! I got medium spicy but might try the spicy next time. I got it to go but it smelled so good I had to sit outside on the patio and try it! Get these Thai chili’s on the side (a part of their condiment rack)… NO JOKE. Spiciest chili’s I ever had in my life but I kept on eating them!! Thank you, I’ll be back!
I’ve been here few times, the food is always good and very friendly staff. The price is reasonable for the amount of food you get on the main dishes which are very rich. My favorite dish so far is Jay’s Special with chicken. I got the spring rolls for the first time today, they were a little small for $6. Other than that this place is worth the visit.
This place is so cute! The indoor vibe is imma usage. The service is great. The food was DELICIOUS! We were hangry and it was an hour into a road trip and we couldn’t have stopped at a better place. I highly recommend the red curry and pad Thai but I have yet to try the rest of the menu. I have a feeling I’d highly recommend everything!!
Terrible service, not great food, definitely not authentic as claimed, and terribly overpriced. We waited over a half hour for our food. Two dishes we ordered came and the third came 10 minutes later. I asked staff several times for forks so that my children could eat their fried rice and had to wait ten minutes for those and ask several times. When I messaged the company they gave feeble excuses and empty apologies. I will never return there. Please take your business elsewhere in Nashville.
Amazing little Thai food restaurant. Food was excellent and the place was very clean. Sad we don’t live in Nashville but will definitely be back.
Glad they got a brick and mortar building to serve their great thai street food. Yummy and quick spot to satisfy any craving for that spicy delicious food.
Amazing Restaurant!We were a huge group and we ordered almost everything on the menu.The food was so good. We had vegetarians and vegans as well in our group. Everyone loved their dish.I had ordered thai green tea which was amazing too.They also give you a condiments/spice rack.I loved the Thai chill oil.The pad-thai was the best. The portion size is huge. I hope they open a location in Austin.I ll be definitely come here what when I am in Nashville.Service is quick and the servers are nice. The restroom was clean too. They have a parking lot but it fills up quickly.
