I had never been to Dawghouse until The Stockyard started hosting writers’ rounds on Wednesdays. Every time I’ve been they’ve had IMMENSELY talented writers. Highly recommend heading to Dawghouse every Wednesday (I believe 6-9) for a great time. Thank you Stockyard for putting on a great show and Dawghouse for hosting! (Also Dawghouse has solid burgers if you want something to munch on while you’re there!)
Great bartender on a Tuesday night!
Just down to earth / great interaction and solid service.
I don’t know what’s fair to write about this place. We walked in for a meal and drinks on a Tuesday. There was no one in the place other than us and the bartender. There was no music, and the kitchen wasn’t open on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. So we left and went elsewhere.
Went in for a drink and football, waited at the bar for over 5 minutes and NOTHING. There was like 9 customers max in the whole place (now I can see why). One bartender made eye contact a few times & no acknowledgement, no drink orders taken. Other bartender was bent over laying on the bar talking to a guy. How ridiculous and tacky. Was in Nashville for a week and this was the ONLY place with bad service. At the 8 minute mark of no greeting or drinks taken got up and left.

This bar literally had two bartenders tonight, December 30, 2021. And while both of them were very good, the six-person deep line around the bar was not a great experience while the band and the bowl games were going on. So many upset people, you have no idea.
Best dry rub wings on Demonbreun and enough TVs to satisfy any sports-bar fan.

We are traveling from our of state and didn't even make it inside. Took/paid for an uber here, and came across the city for this place and was turned away at the door. Not even an option to just look inside the backpack and see we have 2 sweatshirts and a bottle of water. And turned away. Won't be getting my money.
