Great service,
Very pleasant good generous portions. Loved that they have something for everyone
Very nice atmosphere. We ate here for dinner on a Saturday night. The staff was great; all were very attentive and friendly. We had a slight hiccup with our food. We both ordered the prime rib and after eating our salads the waitress informed us they had run out of prime rib for the night. After ordering other food we cut into the ribeye and it was raw when we ordered medium rare. We asked for the manager who came immediately and took the uncooked meat and brought out a new plate very quickly. The beef tenderloin however was great! We were satisfied how the issues we had with dinner were handled.
Went to Nashville for the airport and stopped here. You should dress nicer but the prices are very reasonable. We started out with the calamari, then my husband got the smoked ribs and ordered the bbq salmon. For dessert we got the crème brûlée and the salted caramel ice cream. Each dish was absolutely packed with flavor. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. Highly recommend!
The restaurant is very beautiful inside. Well built. It is a very relaxing place to have lunch. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.I ordered a Large Bowl of Tomato Parmesan Bisque and the Filet Mignon 8 oz. with a side of the Sauté Mushrooms. The Tomato Soup was the best Tomato Soup I have ever had a a restaurant to date. The creamy texture was very well balanced with the Tomatoes and the Parmesan. The Filet Mignon was one of the most perfectly cooked Steaks I have had to this day. The dijon-bordelaise sauce pared very well with the steak. The sauce did not take away from the steak. You could eat the steak without the sauce as well and it would be amazing just itself. They do prefer a dress code:"Smart, Respectful Attire is strongly encouraged for both men & womenFor Gentlemen, please wear shirts with sleeves - no tank tops or cut-off shirtsWe consider Flip Flops & Team Athletic Attire too casual for our restaurant & is strongly discouraged"We did not know about this. I was wearing Flip Flops, White T-Shirt with Athletic Shorts and they still allowed us in. I do greatly appreciate that.100% worth your time and money!
We stayed in Nashville on our way to Florida and we to Darfons for dinner. It was a lovely change of pace. Beautiful interior, excellent staff and something that was on the menu we have never seen before. They ask for patrons to not use their cell phones during their dining experience. How absolutely wonderful for them to do this. People have lost the art of communication without that little device in hand. Talking face to face is so much better. Now the food was wonderful! I had a pasta dish that was amazing! I have and will be recommending this restaurant to many people.
Decent food, my fillet was cooked perfectly and the meat tender. The calamari was pretty good too but the Old Fashions were too sweet and I could not taste any bitters, plus came with crushed ice instead of a sphere or a large ice cube. The bathroom was disgusting, urine all over the floors. Not a high end restaurant but pretty good. Not sure why they say you need follow their dress code. Lots of guys in shorts there and t-shirts.
Good food in a contemporary setting. Our hotel driver recommended Darfons as a place close to the hotel so we decided to give it a try. Located in the busy area of fast food and mid priced hotels near the airport, Darfons was a welcome change. It is great for locals and travelers. They have a variety of dishes for all tastes..pastas, steaks, lamb and if you prefer there are some vegetarian entrees. I tried tried their meatloaf and it was so good! Being a child of the 60’s, I have had my share of this mom staple. This was not a grey slab slathered in ketchup. This was tender, juicy and flavorful. Served with mashed potatoes and garlicky baby green beans made for a delicious filling dinner. It was a little more than I would pay at the Cracker Barrel but I am on vacation and I wanted a different experience. We got there at 6 and got a table, but by the time we left there were no empty spots so a reservation could be in your best interest.
Good service - from Cassidy. Small wine by the glass selection but decent. Had their version of shrimp and grits and enjoyed, though it wasn’t warm enough. Grits are a fried patty with some crispiness. Grits covered in chopped tomatoes. Roux was good with flavoring from onion and other trinities. No okra. Shrimp fair. Tails were cleaned. Bread baguette good but not really warm. Oil with garlic salt is delicious. Crème brûlée good and covered in fruit. Not warm and doubt it was prepared in house. A generous serving of all dishes. Happening spot and the beef smelled good. Would return.
We visited while vacation/work in Nashville. Searched for a good restaurant near the airport, about 2 miles. So glad we followed the great reviews from multiple sources. It delivered. Our server, Alex, was knowledgeable, friendly & fun. The dishes were well prepared with quality ingredients. Started with Artichoke & White Bean Soup, just wonderful. We enjoyed the Jerk Salmon served with Grilled Asparagus & Cheddar Grits. Also ordered the Black & Blue Penne Pasta. The Alfredo type sauce was a better light with quality creamy Blue Cheese. Finished with day’s dessert, Carrot Cake & it was outstanding. Moist, full of good ingredients & had a magnificent cream cheese icing. A great ending to a great dinner.
