food Was Good Service Was Excellent Peaceful Atmosphere Everything Was Cool Love It

It was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly. We got our order to go. The portions were large and was very good. We will definitely go back. We live 2 hours away but my wife said if we lived in Nashville we would have lunch at Dandgure's everyday. My next Doctor's appointment is the middle of next month so we will be back for lunch.

What one would describe as a down home, hidden jewel. Fresh fried pork chops were EXCELLENT! Service was great. A must visit.

This place is by far the best meat and three around hands down! I have tried many places over the years and nothing compares to Dandgere's Cafe. I have been going there for 15 years, I used to work nearby and it was my favorite treat. I don't work nearby anymore and I long for there food as nothing close to where I work now even compares. Mr. Dan and all employees over the years have always been awesome!!!

A favorite lunch spot spot for locals. One of the best meat&3s of the city that invented meat&3s. A must for anyone visiting the Music City. Today had greens, pinto beans, fried okra and corn bread. Delicious, as always!

Having been in Nashville a week, I couldn't take it anymore. I had to eat here. I apparently saved the best for last. I had the fried catfish, turnip greens, Mac n cheese, country corn, & cornbread. And for dessert, blackberry cobbler & banana pudding. Couldn't help myself. I couldn't decide, so I got both. It was like eating at my Grandma's house again! Good ol' southern comfort food made with southern love! The servings were plentiful. (I ate on it for 2 days!) If I'd known the food was this good, I would have been Monday through Friday for lunch.

The place is small & homey, but the food is delicious and the portions are fair for the price. Parking kinda stinks if they're crowded but the food is worth it.

Excellent meal almost as good as what I grew up eating at my Grandmother's house.

We ate here for lunch on a Monday. We ordered fried chicken, jambalaya and Salisbury steak. Each came with 2 sides. Everything was absolutely delicious. Best green beans I have ever eaten. Each meal was under $10. The servers were all extremely friendly. The ambiance is authentic southern cafe. I would definitely go back if we stayed in town longer since menu changes daily. Oh yeah- Souvenir T-shirts are only $8.00.
