I get take out from China King several times a month and have been doing so for 4-5 years. They remained open through COVID and I’m so glad they did. I’ve tried many of their menu choice and all are good. I highly recommend China King!
Best Chinese food in south Nashville. The Singapore Mei Fun is great if you go extra spicy. The garlic chicken is great too. Eggs foo young is so hearty. The lady at the counter is always so nice. Not open on tuesdays is the only bad thing I can say, but that just makes me want to visit every Wednesday. I’m sure that everything on the menu is as good as you will get in the Nashville area.
good food and friendly staff! They were out of tofu one day and I missed their call letting me know they were out. By the time I called them back they already went to the store to get more and still had my food ready in time!!
Ordered sesame chicken for takeout and overall it was a great experience! Excellent customer service at pickup, the food was cooked fresh and packaged well so that it was still steaming hot when we got home.The sesame chicken alone was so delicious that we will be returning again. The pork fried rice and plain lo mein were delicious, but a bit on the heavy side as we could taste a lot of oil. This wasn't a deal breaker, it just meant that we ate less than planned. The serving size is ***Big*** and lasted two meals for me, and three for my husband. A small detail that I loved is that the takeout containers were microwave safe and pretty sturdy, so we can add them to our leftover container collection.This appeared to be a small, family-run or managed restaurant and it will definitely be our go-to Chinese restaurant going forward.
I don’t have any pictures because the food was exceptional and my family devoured it in two seconds. China King is the ONLY Chinese takeout I will purchase because they are clean, friendly and above all their food is always on point. Everything from their soup to their vegetarian dishes are full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Pork and beef dishes too. Stop in your won’t be disappointed.I’ll take pictures next order ?
I have been getting take-out from China King for at least 7 years(probably longer). They have very good food at reasonable prices and have the food ready in about 15 or 20 minutes. They have managed to keep going through the pandemic with a few adjustments in how food is picked up. Love everything, especially the hot & sour soup.

One of our go-to's that's reliably delicious. Great portions for the price, friendly quick service, and this sounds silly but I've never felt gross after eating the food from here like I do with a lot of other Chinese takeout!
My favorite takeout Chinese in Nashville. Our city is lacking compared to a lot of other big metro areas but this one is straightforward and tasty.
