It’s not uncommon right now to walk into a restaurant, any restaurant, and see lots of open tables but being told it’ll be a 20-30 min wait. Plenty of tables and not enough staff. Our waitress was great and the food was decent. After the reviews I read, I expected something better. We would give it another try.

The waitress was very nice and accommodating but the food was not good. Wild game platter the meat was well over done tasted terrible. The soup or cup in middle of plate was not edible. Just in Nashville for the day man wish we went somewhere else.

I was drawn to this restaurant because of the game menu. If you are a wild game fan this is a place for you. Bison and Elk burgers, game platters and combos. They have gator, vision, quail, venison, Elk and bison. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. If game is not your pleasure they do have other burgers and sandwiches, and should have something for anyone. When in Nashville this is a great place for a meal and drinks.

If I could give the customer service at this establishment negative stars, I would. I wanted to reserve private dining there for 17 people at the end of June for a business function. The first 4-5 times I called, no one answered the phone. I emailed, no response. Finally a young man answered and when I inquired about private dining he said they didn't offer it and when I asked for a manager, he put me on hold and never came back. A lady called me back today..Alicia, Alison, something and she was the rudest most unprofessional representative of this restaurant. I'm just so shocked that not only do they not want our business but she told me they didn't consider a group of 17 large and they wouldn't "waste" their large private dining room for a mere 17 people. I needed 45 or more. I just cannot believe they don't stand behind what they advertise and if you look on their site and listen to their voice-mail, it clearly states they offer private dining and nowhere does it mention a MINIMUM of 45 people to reserve the private dining room. I am beyond appalled.

Angel was a wonderful server. She was kind and very helpful. She also has a good sense of fun and joking.Decor is very interesting.Velvet Elvis cocktail was delicious. Food was great and really hot. Filet, loaded baked potato, corn fritters, superb salmon, mashed potatoes, baked beans, and key lime pie. Everything was cooked to perfection.

This is probably the first time I have NEVER hesitated to give a full, gleaming 5 stars to a restaurant! AMAZING!!!!We started with the gator bites. These were some of the best I’ve had from the Florida coast up to Virginia. These topped them all.I had the bison burger, with an elk slider on the side. They were both so juicy and FULL of flavor. Simply divine! My boyfriend had the Caney Combo: bbq ribs and catfish. It was excellent as well, but he said he would get the bison burger next time. The place is full of fun animal mounts. For an avid hunter but also an animal lover, this place left me with a smile all night and my cheeks hurt! Our waitress, Theresia, was so fun and kind and happy and helpful. I would go back and request her every time! This place is worth the drive, no matter how far away you are.I cannot wait until I get to go back again!!!!

Let's start with the band was good. Our waitress was good however she never said her name and was very busy even though it was "less busy then usual." Staff was not engaging with patrons or each other. The pic below is of the Bison Striploin I ordered it medium it came out rare and very tough. Wild game platter; frog legs and fried alligator where good. Elk was dry and stew was ? Drinks where blah bottled beer was good.

We were advised by a local at the opry mall that Caney fork had the best fish, so we decided to go and try it before the grand ol opry. we were there as it opened at 4, we got seated the place was empty our server was no where to be found another waitress took our drink order, when our waitress finally came around she was short and rude with us, I ordered the big boy fish diner, the fish tasted off or dirty oil I didn’t finish my meal as it was gross and the sides we asked for were not correct. the waitress didn’t seem to really care or present she was hiding around the bar playing on her phone, all the waitresses working that night didn’t seem like they were happy to be there, I definitely wouldn’t recommend anyone to eat there I would’ve rather ate at Cracker Barrel next door On a side note the cleanliness of the bathrooms was also disappointing floor was soaked and very strong urine odour and no soap in the dispenser

Staying over the road at the Gaylord for a conference. Having been to Nashville a few times before a group of four of us wanted to eat outside of the hotel. So we took a life in our hands and walked over the road. There’s a really good selection of Eateries in the area and I’m glad we did. For me it’s all about service. I can say that the service was excellent and we were looked after really well in an attentive but non-intrusive manner. This was every single person we interacted with. No one rushed us and we were left alone to enjoy our visit but every time we needed advice, our server was not far away. The food arrived in a sensible way - we had appetisers (starters if you’re from the UK) and we were given time to eat these before the entrées (main courses) were delivered. The food there was first class. The only real problem we had was what to choose of am extensive menu. There was just so much choice. In the end we decided this we were in this part of the USA we went with pretty much local dishes. Five out of 5 for sure and if we weren’t going home in a couple of days I would be tempted to come back again. Recommend the ribs, chicken wings and the NY Strop steak ……

Misty was an amazing waitress. She took excellent care of me. The service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.
