My avocado toast was fabulous. But… Is there a manager here? I would recommend CI if you are able to enjoy the food without being subjected to the service. It is run very haphazardly. There is a ‘messy’ feel to everything here - the service itself, the appearance of the staff, the smears all over the large glass windows. Because every request of my server seemed to take ages, I cancelled the sparkling water I’d ordered and paid. I moved to the bar for a coffee and a sparkling water following my meal. Conveniently, the bartender served me a sparkling water that was sitting on the counter already open “because of a cancelled order” she said. Ah, the one I’d been waiting on at my table 15 min ago! Needless to say, it was less chilled and less sparkling than desired. My coffee arrived and no cream or sugar was offered. I requested cream and sugar and you would have thought I was at Taco Bell. The barista (the one with a bizarre half ponytail) was completely lost - managed to come up with some cream. But there was no sugar. This is supposed to be a coffeehouse! The barista wandered around behind the bar and eventually went to the kitchen in search of sugar. Finally came back with some sugar and considered me taken care of. However, I had no spoon. Sigh! Essentially, I had to coach them through waiting on me. I know help is hard to find right now. Regardless, a much tighter ship could be run.

The food is consistently great & I am always greeted w a cheerful smile. Very happy & enthusiastic staff!!

Amazing food, fantastic menu and the nicest employees - we will visit every time in Nashville!

So good we came back two days in a row lol cute dessert restaurant located downtown. Their desserts are displayed out front. They do have a good menu as well. The mussels were cooked well and tasted amazing. The cakes are decadent but well worth it. Their bathroom had some learn Italian tapes playing which was kinda fun and funny.

Awesome local coffee to visit. I didn't have to wait, but it was busy. This is a cashless place I wanted to note. I wish I knew this because I was hoping to use Cash for desert. there are a few parking spots in front of the coffee.i parked inside the garage nearby. The atmosphere inside is amazing!

Gosh, I wish we remembered our server’s name. He had blonde ish reddish hair and the most wonderful personality. GREAT service. This cafe has an old world vibe, huge emphasis on fine foods and service. Was so lovely to watch the chef’s put together some amazing dishes. We got coffee and the most delicious avo toast of my life. It was on a sort of sourdough baguette and had this wonderful chili oil. Just incredible. 1000/10, would visit again.

Came here for dessert and it did it disappoint. We had carrot cake, light and dark cake as well tres leches—each one of them divine. The best experience was the Hot Chocolate Berlin although our table raved about the Turkish coffee. This place is a must when you visit Nashville.

A solid 4 stars out of five. I started the morning with a cuicciccino, ordered the "spicy seafood dip" which was actually a seafood chowder and not thick enough to be called a "dip" which came with a pretty decent loaf of bread. I enjoy crab, shrimp, and scallops, so I also got the seafood crepe. After receiving the dip, I figured it wouldn't be a traditional crepe and would be messy, and I was right. You could not hold the crepe in your hand and something is lacking from it, like an egg or something... I'm not sure what. I'm no crepe expert, but I can tell you something is very off.My wife got the lox pasta and it was very good and appeasing. We finished with a Dutch hot chocolate and a cafe Cubano, respectively. I got the Dutch hot chocolate for the hazelnut, and it was much better than expected. An amazing chocolate masterpiece masked with way too much cream. With that, we got a B-52 cheesecake and the Spice cake(cake of the day) which were both delicious and went together well. For scenery, it is amazing.Atmosphere, they need to figure out temperature controls because everyone in the detached room was sweating.Food, could use better descriptions on the menus so that people get what they expect and don't have higher expectations than the quality they get.Menus, should have paper copies printed and ready for people that prefer a physical copy. There are no hosts and the staff that do all of the work are working hard the entire time. Hire a host!Beyond the few minor issues, this was an amazing experience to be had. I'll probably be back a few times for the cocoa, salmon, and cheesecakes.

My fiancé and I visited back in September during a trip to Nashville for her birthday. Needless to say, this place has made an incredible impression. We both work in the food industry and refer back to our experience here as one of the best we have ever had. The waiter was incredibly friendly and kind, and the chef was not only an expert of his craft. But he was overly accommodating to my milk allergy. He went out of his way to make the best fluffy scrambled eggs I’ve had in recent memory.Anyone looking for a great place to eat, this is truly a special spot.

We love eating here before we go to the Nashville Symphony. There’s an old world charm and the food is always spectacular. The service is always quick and personable. Tonight I had the American Breakfast with chicken sausage. It was absolutely delicious!! My husband had the chicken sandwich. You must try the rosemary potatoes - those are always so good!! I also like the beet salad with salmon or chicken…. Just so delicious!! Their desserts are equally good.
