I’ve been to this restaurant previously and had a wonderful experience. We came for my birthday and I was extremely disappointed. Appetizers came out 15 minutes apart, my sister and her boyfriend got their food after the rest of our party was finished with their food, 25 minutes later. Our waitress did not come to check on how we were, or if we received our order, or if it was correct. The food was very basic and mediocre. I had to ask the waitress to cover my sisters meal, because the waitress did not offer, due to the mistake of forgetting, or inconvenience. We will definitely not be back. Also, there was no soap or hand sanitizer in the restrooms. Don’t waste your time making reservations or eating at this restaurant.
I wish I could give this place 0 stars and warn anyone else from coming - easily one of the worst dining experiences of my life and I’m surprised none of us got food poisoning. We read reviews when we made the reservation about 3 months prior and it had great reviews, but you can 100% notice a trend over the last two months in the reviews that something has changed and this place shouldn’t even be in business anymore with what they’re serving their guests. To start, my party of 14 got there at 5pm and there was no background music on, no TVs on behind the bar, the bartenders weren’t ready, and our server didn’t greet us for 15 minutes. Then, when we got our drinks, anything bottled or canned was warm. The mixed cocktails were the only thing that got good reviews from the table. The food was literally the worst thing I’ve ever been served at an establishment by far. The Fish Tacos smelled so ripe and fishy half our table nearly gagged just from the smell alone, let alone the fact that it looked soggy and disgusting. The Chicken Wings came out with FEATHERS still on them! FEATHERS! How do you serve that?! Then the Pork “Nachos” came out with gray pork meat and barely any shredded cheese that wasn’t even melted. The “loaded” fries came out with hardly any melted cheese and no bacon in sight. The Pizza was the only edible items we were served, and luckily we had enough for all 14 people to get a slice or two. It tasted like store bought canned sauce, but at least it was edible. All the food came out cold and over a 30 minute span, which I get with 14 people but still, 30 minutes? The manager comped the plates that were sent back, but honestly the whole meal should have been comped because everything was cold or sent back. Seriously, DO NOT eat here and someone should actually call the health department. I wish we took pictures of the food to include in this review!
This was a cool venue to hang out and listen to Jazz on a Monday night followed by a songwriters showcase. Decent wine selection and good cocktail list.
Music and atmosphere was nice. Artist we decent except for one who was either high or drunk. She arrived late, started to fall asleep on stage a couple of times. Food was horrible (pork chop plate, the only 1 they had left). When we there they gave us a menu but told us they were out of steak, pizza and several other items on the menu. Basically most of the menu. We felt like the male waiter was very rude and somewhat condescending. The bartender/waitress was very nice and a pleasure to be around. She was actually one of the last acts of the night. The irony was she didn't even work there but was helping out as the waitress, server, and bartender. Was actually glad to leave once the artist we wanted to see was finished.
I don't know what this restaurant is like to eat at as a walk-in customer but this review is to warn against booking it for a private event. They turned what should have been a happy post-wedding brunch into a nightmare. I had had serious misgivings about the place because the event planner was repeatedly unresponsive or unclear in his emails regarding basic details, but I ignored these feelings because they had my deposit and we live out of town. We arranged to meet the event planner the Thursday before the Sunday brunch to confirm the start time, numbers of guests expected, and basic food/layout details. We were assured that everything would be taken care of. We arrived at 1030 Sunday morning to find that the staff had seated a group of people in the room we had reserved. Another man was drinking at the bar in our space. There were place settings for only about 20 people. The waiter was shocked that we had a party of 80 because he thought 20 guests were expected. No coffee was available for a long time and hot tea was never brought out. Clean mugs were brought out 3-4 at a time and were constantly in short supply. We were told the restaurant only had one coffee maker although we had confirmed the 80-person guest figure 3 days earlier. Muffins and pastries, definitely from Costco, were the only food on the buffet initially. The rest of the food came out much later. A vegetarian casserole, described by my daughter as merely "edible," was placed out once and never refilled. Bacon was evidently served once before it ran out, I never saw it. I had ordered crepes with fruit (as offered on the restaurant's private event menu) but instead we were served weird looking chocolate-filled roll-ups. The restaurant ran out of food and at that point some guests who hadn't yet eaten left and went to eat elsewhere. To top it off, the restaurant somehow ran out of plates and metal cutlery and so brought out paper plates and plastic cutlery! I had arranged for bloody marys and mimosas to be served but the staff said they did not know anything about drinks being offered. They finally just brought out orange juice and bottles of champagne for guests to pour themselves. Our guests were gracious, but I was totally embarrassed. Poor quality food served in a frantic manner on paper plates was not what I had in mind to cap off an otherwise beautiful wedding weekend. Really, we would have had a better, and more timely, meal if we had booked McDonald's. It was obvious the place was extremely understaffed and poorly managed. I don't blame the waiter who was running around trying to handle all this and the waitress who was on her second day on the job; they were the victims of the management. When we spoke with the owner later, she immediately put her staff under the bus before then accusing us of exaggerating how bad it was. We were shocked at how terribly this restaurant handled such a basic brunch event. By comparison, we planned and had an outstanding experience at the rehearsal dinner and reception for 150 people Friday night at another event place that was A-plus professional. Nashville has so many excellent restaurants. People should avoid this one.
HORRIBLE!! DO NOT EAT HERE!!This place used to be good…..We had a reservation for dinner last night. We walked in and the front area smelled musty. Should’ve turned around and left at that point. There was no one at the host stand but a woman sitting at the bar looking at a laptop hollered to ask us what we needed. We told her we had dinner reservations and she asked if we wanted to hear music or sit in the bar area. We opted for music and she told us to walk down the hall and sit anywhere. We get to the back where there were so many open tables so close together that we had to move chairs out of there way to get to a table. A server followed us with menus and silverware. The server then brought us 2 clear plastic solo cups of water; one was water and the other was brown tinted water. I asked for a different water and he explained sometimes the first pour comes out that color. We both order a glass of wine and the red wine tasted as if it had been in an opened bottle for a couple of weeks. We ordered the baked Brie and shrimp and grits to share. They both came out together in less than 10 minutes which was surprising until I saw and tasted what was brought out. The baked Brie consisted of 1/2 wheel of Brie with canned pineapple on top and ritz crackers on the side. The shrimp in the grits were chewy from being overcooked and the dish was flavorless. This place used to have the best shrimp and grits in Nashville, this was definitely not the same. I asked our server if they were under new management and another man answered “we bought it a year and a half ago”. I asked if they had a new cook because we had been there in the past year and a half. He told me they bought the place and everyone has different taste so if you don’t like it then you don’t like it. WOW! I finally found out that yes, they did indeed get a new chef….. or someone to microwave some food.Horrible food! Horrible atmosphere! Horrible management!! Horrible wine!! All together the worst dining experience I’ve ever had anywhere. If I could rate negative stars I would.Do yourself a kindness and DO NOT EAT HERE!
We went to the special event and had a blast. Great music. Great drinks. Awesome service. Well dressed and well mannered security on site, thank goodness. Thanks for the good time!

Food is mediocre at best. Service was good. There are so many better options in Nashville. Go somewhere else for sure
Got to the restaurant today and waited 45 mins to get a table. The food wasn’t good. Omelet was greasy. Fully delayed our entire day and they automatically include a 25% tip? Interesting. Could be a cute vibe if the service was better.
