Weâre retired local suburbanites who have decided itâs time to get back to some semblance of a normal post-pandemic life. Once a week we find a promising restaurant for lunch, hopefully near a point of interest. We visited Boqueria for an early Thursday lunch. It is a pleasant oasis situated only yards from the hustle and bustle, cutoff jean shorts, cowboy boots and tourist buses of Broadway. Itâs a big place, all glass and chrome; but oddly quiet, at least for lunch. One could imagine, however, a high decibel level at happy hour. As to the food, itâs important to remember this is tapas! Each plate will be small and best considered appropriate for two diners. Besides flutes of cava, we ordered five dishes. The olives were more than we could eat. The croquettes were toasty brown: the star, the mushroom. The bacon wrapped dates were the weak link: good bacon, but mushy dates. The jambon was heavenly and the best dish, the eggplant. Yes, I know: ugh, eggplant; but it truly is a delicious concoction. Finally, the staff from top to bottom were extremely pleasant and provided just the right amount of attentiveness. ps: donât forget to get your parking ticket validated at the hostess station or youâll have an unpleasant surprise in the garage!
loved the atmosphere, and the service was very friendly and helped a lot while I was deciding on what i would like off the menu. i would like to return to try out their brunch menu. came during dinner hours and enjoyed the food they also offer a large drink selection!
Excellent food and service. French toast was amazing. The bottomless sangria and mimosas had me drunk at brunch. The spicy potatoes were seasoned and so good. Will come back for dinner sometime.
I am visiting Nashville for my birthday and we had the best experience! We got The Boqueria Experience and it was quite the experience! Highly recommend it to anyone who goes. Our server was very attentive, funny and gave us great recommendations and opinions on our next reservations on Broadway later this weekend.
This was probably the worst dining experience of my life. The server suggested we order 3-4 plates for my husband, daughter, and myself. We ordered 4 plates. Instead of bringing us all our itemsSo we could taste different things, they brought them individually. So I had 6 pieces of broccoli. Then about 10 minutes later I had 1/4 piece of French toast. About 10 minutes later I had 1 meatball. And I finished it off 10 minutes later with 2 bites of steak. We had planned to order more, but the server never came back to get any additional orders. The steak was horrible. I have had better quality meat at Outback, which is quite embarrassing. As you can see from the photo, at least 4 oz of the steak was just pure fat. Finally, I had to start asking other servers for our ticket just so we could leave and grab burgers on the way home (I’m not joking). I’m pretty easy to please and think I’ve written one other review for a restaurant in my life, so you can imagine how awful the experience had to be for me to waste more time to do this. Do not recommend.
My husband and I recently stopped in and it was just such a fun experience. We sat at the bar, and Sloane refilled our water glasses several times without being asked, super attentive to us. Harrison chatted with us for a few minutes and made me a delicious drink that I'd not tried before. The food came out quickly and the whole time we were there was just welcoming and relaxing.

Had a reservation for a Mother’s Day dinner. They were out of various items on the menu, waiter kept coming back to inform that they were out of the item. Ordered a medium paella and the rice had to be scrapped off the pan. First time experiencing all of this in our first visit, could not recommend and will not return.
Overpriced for the quality and size of the plates. Service was very slow. Coke were flat and didnt have more, so no soft drinks.
Nobody explained that it was a tapas style delivery- the food came all at different t times and we had to wait over an hour for two dishes, our waitress was inefficient and rude- horrible service.
