If you want to actually hear musicians sing their songs without the distractions of big screen televisions and drunk wedding parties, this place is it. A real tavern so don't expect hard liquor or draft beer. Beer in bottles and cans and some cider and hard seltzers.

Bobby's Idle Hour is an incredible venue. I have performed there and I love it. So much history! Can't wait to go back.

Cool little bar that had some great live local music on a Monday. I think it's beer only but there were some choices. Super friendly. Outdoor stage and patio for when the weather is nicer.
Great little bar and live music venue!! Had a fantastic time there seeing Hannah Juanita and Pat Reedy! Bartender was awesome, sound guy did a great job, and I dug the overall atmosphere of the place. Plus they have a nice little patio out back for us smokers. My Friday night at Bobby's was seriously the highlight of my trip to Nashville!
What a find!!! Small bar with a big heart close to music row. Loved the music and sheer togetherness of the punters. Highly Recommended
Great event, good tall cans of cold beer, and enjoyed my first crawfish boil here.
Super comfortable- got to see several local artists and very affordable drinks. We will be sure to come back next time we come through town.
