I had the hot fudge sundae with brownie and it was good but nothing special. I wouldn't voluntarily go and wait in line for 15-20 min just for that lol. But our friend wanted to try it so there we were.

Great place to grab a hot dog or burger and fries. Don’t forget to get your favorite ice cream treat. Friendly service.

Super cute 50's style ice cream parlor on Charlotte Avenue in Nashville, TNLoved the names of their Milkshakes like the Chuck BerryLoved my soft served ice cream cone and a bite of my daughter's banana ? splitOld school walk up counter to place your order

This place has been here with great Ice cream for many years, I decided to stop in the other day to get a CHOCOLATE DIPPED ICE CREAM CONE, my experience was fearful...First of all I was unaware the dairy dip had changed ownership! The price of the cone was "4.15" normally not my price range, but I bought it to see what a 4.15 cent Ice cream cone tasted like...The chocolate it was dipped in was see through, you could see the ice cream, and it tasted like sugar free cheap chocolate, like that gigantic bar of chocolate you get for a dollar. It gets better, the ice cream was already melted under the thin layer of chocolate, so when I bit it, the Ice cream ran out all over my clothes and he didnt even want to give me napkins when I purchased the cone...I was appalled so as I was eating the ice cream there were surprises in the ice cream, so I decided to eat the cone part which is my favorite part , The Cone was so stale I could not bite it! It wouldnt even bite! Out the window went the 4.15 cent Ice cream cone, and I actually feared for my health afterwards...Bobbies is no more....

Delicious ice cream in a funky, old school restaurant. The fries were also amazing, definitely a great way to cool down on a hot day!

The lines are typically long, so I thought it was worth trying. I ordered a dipped cone. The ice cream really did not have any flavor and the chocolate needed to be double dipped. It was thin, yet never really hardened before the ice cream began melting. I thought maybe it was a fluke, so I returned on another trip a couple of weeks later with a friend. As it turns out, I would give it the same review. I also won't pay the extra for the dusting of sprinkles I got the second time. Maybe it's something to try once, but it isn't something I'm so crazy about that I would wait in a long line for. I think the rush to get the product out takes away from the quality. The service was fine. The outside seating probably needs a good powerwash.

I've never once felt the need to write a public review before, but my horrible experience at Bobbie's took me over the edge. When my wife and I arrived 30 minutes prior to the listed closing time, we noticed that the group in front of us had the "end of line" marker that Bobbie's staff hands to the last party they will be serving that evening. The group with the marker kindly offered to let us go in front of them so we could still be served. After that, an older couple came behind us whom we overheard had driven 45 minutes to get there. As the last group with the marker was ordering, Bobbie's staff informed the older couple that they would not be taking their order. The group who had let us go ahead of them stepped in and offered to add this other couple's order to their bill, but Bobbie's insisted that they would not serve them regardless of who paid. This all happened 20 minutes before the listed closing time. When we confronted the Bobbie's staff about this, they simply smiled and nodded. They did not acknowledge that this was wrong and heartless in any way. The other groups present also confronted the staff, and they were met with the same lack of response. It was disgusting to watch the way the staff cold-heartedly denied service to this couple right in front of their faces. They were the only other people left in line. No other groups had arrived or started to line up at all. It almost seemed like the staff wanted to make a point of denying this couple service regardless of the fact that it was 20 minutes prior to closing. The staff spent more time explaining how they would not under any condition serve the couple, than it would have taken them to just take their order. A truly disgusting experience to witness. We have been to Bobbie's dozens of times over the years, but will not be giving our business to Bobbie's again.

Another mainstay for hometowners. The best shakes and burgers in West Nashville. The have been hit with the post pandemic labor shortage, but worth the wait. No carhops so just walkup and place your order. Next to a another Nashville mainstay got chicken establishment. So you can kill two food groups "hot chicken and burgers" within a 100 feet. Please only share this your best friends!!

We went here for the ice-cream, but they have limited selections (vanilla or chocolate). The two cones we got were good and soft but nothing special or worth making a trip to get.

Grandkids love this place. Great Old Fashion Dive in food and soft serv ice cream with all the toppings! Not bad for the Grandparents either!
