We went as a party of 6 and were told a 20min wait. We were notified our table was ready so we went inside but our table wasn’t ready. We had to wait an additional 5-10min for our table. Our waiter was pleasant but forgetful, we never got our hot water or biscuit. The portion sizes were small for the price and the food was underwhelming. The French toast was oily and the biscuits had pepper in the flour. The steaks were not to order and the veggie omelet was missing goat cheese. We do not recommend. Also the parking is VERY limited. The surrounding businesses in the same lot are closed on Sunday but you can’t park there, we had to park across the street.
Best breakfast I've ever had. Truly a gem of Nashville. The creole omelet was stuffed full or sausage and shrimp. The potatoes cakes were crispy and flavorful. The cheddar bacon grits were homemade and as my wife inhaled them and finished off the last scoop she looked at me and said, oh did you want some ?.
This food is worth whatever wait time you are experiencing to get a table right now. Wait it out! Husband got chicken and waffles and I got the “cathead” chicken biscuit. Both were beyond amazing. For how busy this place is, service was excellent and we didn’t wait long for our food (had a group of 6 adults).
This restaurant was walking distance from my Airbnb so we came here a lot on our trip. Our waitress was named Rae and she had excellent customer ! There is a small wait for a table I think it was probably about 20 to 30 minutes, once we sat down and order it only took about 20 to 15 minutes for a food to come out. The food was excellent I enjoyed every bit of it. The parking in this area is not so great if you are able to walk that would be best
Don’t hurry to get here since your meal is likely already waiting for you on the grill. I was surprised my breakfast came so quickly after I ordered. The eggs were cool, the bacon was cold, the toast was cold, and the coffee was cool and stale. The server was excellent, but what he delivered was below par.
Great food, cool space! Ensure you get on the waitlist via Yelp before attempting to get a table. Moat the time my wife and I can grab a couple of seats at the bar for a meal, but the wait times are a REAL thing. So is parking. Join the waitlist, get there when you’re supposed to and keep an eye out for a spot if you don’t want to idle outside the doors just waiting for a table to open up. Worth a visit for both breakfast and lunch menu options! This is from my possibly 10th(ish) visit and food is consistently good and flavorful. Stay polite out there.
2 over medium eggs, bacon, a cat head biscuit, jam, and a pancake with syrup. Delicious! All cooked perfectly. The pancake was great. The staff was also on task!Definitely would visit this location again.
Food was good. Service could have been better. Made a reservation on YELP, arrived and still told it would be a 30 minute wait. Grabbed a seat at the bar. Our silverware was dirty. We received TWO sets and ended up requesting To-Go silverware. Maybe this is the service you receive when sitting at the bar. I've had better service at the WAFFLE HOUSE.
Absolutely delicious Bourbon soaked French toast and some spicy bacon! Great egg wrap too was enjoyed by my husband and my brother's eggs sausage & grits were very good.
The food was amazing !!!! We had never tried shrimp & grits before, and now we know why it's so popular. Also, first time trying tomato gravy, oh my, it is fabulous. the biscuits and gravy are also delicious. The service was slow, BUT they were very busy. The AC was on way too high, we had to ask twice for it to be turned down, but both times the waiter did.
