Our server was both extremely handsome and knowledgeable. Great service, nice eyes. Order the bruschetta unless you don’t like tomatoes.
It's astounding that so many people say this place is so good, and the Margherita pizza is the best pizza ever. We got that and the Salsiccia pizza, and they both were very subpar. I would probably say the worst pizza I've ever had. They were very expensive for what they were. The Margherita pizza was mostly sauce with a little cheese and three pieces of basil. The sauce tasted like regular pizza sauce, nothing special. And the Salsiccia had no sauce. The garlic was nothing to talk about. The only good thing was the sausage. And the crust was just dry bread. I didn't even want to eat the crust, it was so dry and plain. There was more crust than pizza in some parts, especially on the Salsiccia pizza as you can tell from the picture. The only thing that we enjoyed was the atmosphere! And the employees seemed friendly. Other than that, we would never be back.
Great location off the beaten path, quick service, and fantastic people. I know that this is supposed to be an authentic experience and this is me looking at it from a Midwestern American perspective but for the cost we unfortunately were unimpressed.The good: I will say that this was a very unique place to eat. The atmosphere and area were great. They had wonderful service and all the staff that I interacted with were wonderful.The bad: The food was very pricy. We ended up getting 2 pizzas and spent $40. Mind you that normally this would be acceptable however were talking about thin 9 inch pizzas. I am not a fan of this crust because I believe pizza is more about the toppings however, the lack of toppings made the crust stand out. In our opinion this crust was fairly bland and with very little toppings the overall taste definitely suffered.
Cute place. Great thin crust. If you are a cheese lover, ask for a bit more. Tried the Italian sausage and Salami on the Margherita. The vegetarian is amazing as well! Pic included.
Incredible foot and atmosphere! Daily specials outside of the main menu are always top of the line from an amazing chef. Best authentic pizza and Italian food with great service.
The lady on the phone was nice but once I got into the restaurant, the guy who prepared my pizza was so rude and disrespectful. I wasn’t dressed in the best clothes because I was picking up the order, but he looked at my with disgust, also talked to me aggressively once my pizza was ready. A friend referred me to this place, but if this is the treatment you get, I’m never coming back. The pizza also barely has any cheese and it was extremely burnt.
True Italian done extremely well. It's a very cool place to eat dinner. The staff is very friendly from the time we met the guy at the door till the time we sat down our waitress and everything was 1st class.Our waitress was very accommodating very informative and gave us all lots of options.. We had a party of 8 so we tried 3 different appetizers and most everything on the menu. Not one single complaint and everyone actually ranted and raved about how good it was. I would not hesitate to go back truly top notch food and service! A rare combination now a days
Amazing, quaint, and absolutely worth it. A rare yet, prestigious find in Nashville, Tennessee. A combination of Litte Italy and authenticity will leave you saying "Yes!" to a cannoli or two. A true pleasure to wine and dine at this romantic, yet family friendly establishment. You will feel as if you are a 1000 miles away and right at home.
