Excellent service, cool atmosphere and convenient location across from Belmont. Now for the food, the spanikopita is the absolute best I have ever had, No tzaziki needed. Its a huge portion! The calamari was perfectly breaded and seasoned, but the true all star is the house made marinara sauce. I mean, WOW!! I will make the two and half hour drive for that marinara! This is a must try!
Wanted a local diner close to our Airbnb and google took us here. One waiter, greeter , host working the front of the house and the place looked a wreck. He was very nice and explained he was the only one there and had been called in on his day off. I would give him a bonus just for that ! The house soup was delicious, everything else rather pedestrian. The food took forever which one might suspect with the staffing at this level. It's an odd venue - cement floors and odd floor plan. Kudos to Brandon for his work ethic - but probably would not return.
Lunchtime, so it was pretty empty. They have a large, two-page, all-day breakfast! Very extensive selection for all meals, definitely something for everyone. Lots of Greek favorites, including Gyros.
It is poorly managed and we had a terrible time here. Our server said there would be a bit of a wait, but we weren't expecting to wait 1.5 hours to get our food! It wasn't even busy in the restaurant.At one point a waiter was walking around asking tables if a plate belonged to them, even though there were only four full tables in the restaurant.The gyros were fine, just bland and boring and small. They were not restaurant quality and were something I'd expect from a fast food chain place. The fries were burnt and terrible. Definitely not worth such a frustrating experience.EDIT: Also, we ended up having terrible digestive issues after eating here. Stay away!!!
I love Athens food, but they may need to hire more people. I ordered from their website to avoid Postmates/ DoorDash delivery fees, and waited an hour and forty-five minutes for my delivery. I even called the restaurant to ask the status, because I received a text confirmation of my order and then nothing else for over an hour. I always try to support mom-and-pop businesses whenever possible, things like this make it less tempting to do so.
The Lamb Burger was delicious, it was generous on portions. Service was friendly and quick. Definitely recommend and will try again.
Upon entering I was impressed with the friendliness not to mention the speed at which we received service.Being from Wisconsin and also being HANGRY, I immediately asked about the bar and my frown was instantly turned upside down by being informed by our lovely waitress (and hostess) that it was a strict BYOBooze policy after that everything was soooo good I actually ordered more Togo! I can’t wait to return
I had the Greek Benedict which was awesome! Our server was great. Loved the atmosphere. I definitely recommend this restaurant. Many choices on the menu for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Oh. My. Word. I’ve literally never had BETTER Greek food! I found this place from the Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives website and I was not disappointed. I had the Kotopita (absolutely scrumptious) with Spanakorizo. I tried the Spanakorizo first and I was blown away by how amazing it was, and then I took a bite of the Kotopita. HEAVEN!! Do you know that TikTok doing where it says “the flavors were melting in my tongue” that’s what the food was like. I’m not really a leftover type of person but I wish I could eat this forever. If I vomited, i would eat the vomit and then some more of this food. If I could give this place a higher rating than five I would. Thank you for having me experience this amazing amazing amazing food.
I have mixed feelings about this place, I'll start off by saying I don't particularly care for the parking situation here, The young lady waiting tables was very nice, and the waitress I had was nice too. However there are some cleanliness issues that do not seem to be taken care of here. The food was good I had the Traditional Gyro. However I could not help but notice that the wait was very long I waited an hour for my food, and I also couldn't help but notice the guy in the kitchen was on his phone, which was probably why it was taking so long. I would still come back but there needs to be some improvement here.
