The food was very delicious and had good flavor. But I was very disappointed in the portions you get for almost $15 per plate with tax. Me and my husband both left hungry. I just feel like if we spend almost $40 to eat here, we should at least get a full portion. I was excited when I seen all the reviews and pictures posted of the plates of how they looked. I wish I could of got the same on my visit from 2 hours away from home.

This place is delicious & efficient! Food is served in a cafeteria style line. We had a large bus full of teenagers & they got us our food quickly, even items made to order. There are plenty of seating & a bar area. I recommend the Mac-n-cheese, fried green tomatoes, & chocolate chess pie. The staff was all friendly & helpful. Great local atmosphere!
This place is worth every penny. I was apprehensive seeing the cafeteria style ordering. But I was wrong to judge. The staff is super friendly. They told us which sides they liked. We got a mix and loved it all. Not sure if you can go wrong here.
A great place off the touristy path. Very laid back atmosphere. The food was wonderful and we loved the cafeteria style because you get to see what you're ordering.Staff was super nice and we actually received great advice for non tourist places to check out which was greatly appreciated.
This meat and three is …Sensational (Future voice). They closed for the afternoon (on Wed) but the owner and staff still welcomed us in enthusiastically and allowed us to dine in. We had catfish, brisket, collard greens, green beans, squash and succotash - best crispy catfish of my life. Love to see family owned businesses thriving for decades now ??

Saw good reviews about this place, wanted to try Southern food and wow! It was amazing. The experience was neat, to get your food it is cafeteria style. Prices are very reasonable , I got the fried catfish with 3 sides. The grits and the coleslaw is a must try. Everything we ate was very good especially the grits. Definitely felt like an authentic experience and the customer service was amazing as well! Felt welcomed and the workers were super friendly. Definitely recommend trying if you are in Nashville. Hope to visit again before I leave!
We went here because it was featured on DDD. Did not disappoint. Love the old school cafeteria style dining and the food was excellent. Had the fried chicken Mac and cheese and bread pudding. It was awesome! Would definitely go back. My wife had the sugar cured ham and greens and she loved both of them.
