Abyssinia has the the most delightful cuisine one can experience. If you like a little spice with a lot of flavor this is the place to go. The owner is so nice and will make it as mild or as spicy as you would like . This is absolutely a remarkable place to eat!!!
The owner or whoever the lady mainly works there handles food with bare hands and needs to learn proper English to actually communicate with her customers. Not have her child fully translate,It was a headache just to pick up a $25 meal I had placed online and her mannerism is very ugly.

Please try you will not be disappointed the food is delicious. The flavor is unbelievable! The only thing I wish there was more food on my plate, but I was full. So good some of the best Ethiopian food I have ever had. It reminded me of my Ethiopian Sister.
The woman that works there really is a big finesse she charged me and my friend 17.99 each but the menu clearly stated it was 13.99. The food was good but her attitude is so rude i called back and asked her why she overcharged us she said things are expensive and she didn’t get new menus.
I love this place, I always get good service and food. If you want to know about the dishes just ask, they are more than happy to explain them to you. My go to dish is Kitfo (raw)
It's the best Ethiopia restaurant in Nashville tn every one is go to injoy it
Authentic and delicious. The staff is like family to us and they cook as if you were family. The surrounding area is a bit seedy, but if you can park your car as close to the restaurant, that would be great. You should not miss a meal here when you are in Nashville and looking for a good African meal.
The food is very good, I like the place, the serverice is good, and the ethopian coffee is really good :)
Ordered from here yesterday only to end up with food poisoning today. Just regretting every second of giving this spot a chance
