No joke, this is VERY high on my list of favorite Indian restaurants in Nashville now. The shrimp vindaloo is among the best I have had. I didn’t recognize many things on the menu, but what was either the owner or manager walked us thru all the many things I will try the next time we go! The atmosphere is nice. There was a quirky 60s duet playing music at just the right volume and they were entertaining. You don’t necessarily have a waiter, you order online and it is delivered via a robot. No joke! Someone did check in with us many times though. We will be back!
Great food!
We are new to Indian cuisine and the food was delicious. The staff was courteous, provided us a complimentary beverage for our first time here.Tried the Tomato Dosa and Kothu Parotta and both were fantastic. I would highly recommend and will return.
Another great dinner at 615Chutney! The owner is very friendly and talks to everyone to make them feel welcome! The staff is great. Wonderful food and live music. We keep coming back!
Lively place with music and great service! Food tasted yummy and reasonable price. Must go again
Hands down the best Sambar in Nashville. I wish I could make it at home... Lot of breakfast, lunch and dinner options. It's a 20 minute drive for me but I'm going to come back for sure!
The food was excellent and we loved the room. But we did not like the impersonal and clunky ordering system. We are seniors and having to look at the menu on our phones and also pay that way made us very unhappy. We would have liked dessert and another drink but we didnât want to have to go through the whole phone ordeal again. But the food was excellent!
Niroop the owner is very friendly and the food is outstanding
I'm going to start with the positive. Most of the food was very good. The lamb dish was very tough, but everything else was cooked well and tasted great. The ambiance leaves a little to be desired. It's very open and not an intimate restaurant at all. It is a very modern, techy place ! I don't even hate the robot that delivers the food. With Covid being on everyone's mind, it's an excellent idea to cut back on human contact. What I find to be a huge problem is the order process. DO NOT go there without a cell phone! The only way to order is off your phone AND the meal MUST be paid for up front on your phone as well. No options for handing your card over to anyone for payment. One of the gentlemen there was very helpful, the other not so much. He was of little use when at first we were confused about the ordering/paying process. The price point is not that of a fine restaurant but it was not cheap. There was no bowl of naan or any other type of bread offered for the table. If you wanted more than what came with your meal (which was one piece) you had to pay additional for it. Although the food was pretty good, the overall experience was not. With all the choices of good restaurants in our area, this is not one I would choose to visit again.
