One of my favorite local restaurants here in Nashville. They aways have fun new dishes on the menu that are worth trying out! Highly recommend!!
The food quality and presentation were absolutely perfect. I had one of the best halibut dishes I’ve ever eaten in my life! Every bite from appetizers to desert was exceptional! Our waitress was very friendly, nice, helpful and professional. Loved the restaurant vibe as well, very beautiful and modern. A new favorite in Nashville!
Yep. 5 star all around. I highly recommend either salad, the pork lettuce wraps, the short ribs, the fried chicken, and Brussel sprouts! Absolutely beautiful atmosphere. The outdoor space is very lovely but it was 96° and I wasn't going. Street parking is available. I will definitely be back!
We had an amazing dinner at 5th and Taylor. After living in Nashville for four years, I can’t believe I haven’t been here sooner. Great quality dishes with surprisingly large portions! Will definitely return!
5th & Taylor—Exceptional! Their outside area is a very nice setting to enjoy dinner. The biscuits were pretty good; but, the duck wings, bacon wrapped quail and short rib w creamy whipped potatoes were the tri-fecta! Add the fried apple pie a la mode drenched in caramel and you WILL float home on a cloud of happiness!Notes re photos: The photo of the duck wings was taken after we tried it (so does not represent the full generous portion) and we did not take a photo of the beautifully presented short rib entree (but, it was DELICIOUS!)
I spoke with Michael at 5th and Taylor. He was prompt and courteous in refunding and making it right
Visited 5th and Taylor on May 22 to celebrate our daughter's graduation. We were a party of 7. Our server Jeff submitted our order and came back with 2 free appetizers Sausage Cheddar Biscuits. He explained the kitchen was backed up and they wanted to give these to us. Looked at the bill today and found we were charged $22 (plus tax, tip etc..) for the complimentary appetizers
We went to Fifth and Taylor on a Saturday for a 4:45 reservation. The atmosphere was beautiful, We were greeted by a friendly hostess and taken to our seats immediately. The waitress was also friendly and very knowledgeable. The reason I am giving them a 2 star is because of the food and their extremely slow bar service.I ordered the beer chicken and my friend ordered the pot roast. The pot roast was cooked for 12 hours and it was moist but it was over salted. This dish tasted like salt. However, the real issue was the beer chicken. The gravy you see on the picture was literally ice cold. I sent it back , which I don’t think I’ve sent something back in over a decade. So my friend ate his entire meal before they brought it back to me. And again- The gravy was cold. Because it took so long, I think they heated it up and let it sit there. (It was the same plate I sent back). The waitress stood there and watched me take a bite and asked, “is it the temperature you like?” And I said it’s still kind of cold. At this point, I didn’t feel the need to wait another 30 minutes for this beer chicken. I took two bites. The bar was worse than the beer chicken. I ordered a cosmopolitan and the drink got there when the first beer chicken did, approximately 40 minutes after ordering. I drank that and ordered another one while waiting on the second beer chicken to arrive. The drink came after our waitress delivered the check. (Meaning I had no drink for the second beer chicken attempt). When I go somewhere on a trip, I spend a very long time doing my research on restaurants. And - I don’t know if I ever wrote a negative review. This place was a bust. And honestly not worth the hype.
Met some colleagues after work and it was a great experience. Reserved our table online. Parking was a bit tight on the street but was made aware a parking garage was behind the restaurant. Great service, delicious food and a nice vibe. Went on a Tuesday around 5:30. It was super busy and crowded by 6:30. Highly recommend reservations. Will return to check out the patio vibe this summer!
