We are here from California visiting our friends and decided to try this restaurant for a nice evening out. After our food was served and we just started to eat, a waiter came with a bowl full of cleaning products and splashed it over the skillet which overflowed from the skillet and went all over some of our food, plates and sauces. As we gasped, he said sorry and continued to clean the grill splashing everywhere as we looked at him in shock that he had just spilled his cleaning product all over our table and food. We explained to the manager what happened and she offered more rice to be cooked in the kitchen for us? our dinner was ruined and she didn't seem to understand that. Then as we left, they were mopping the floor and my daughter slipped on the wet floor but thank goodness was not injured. Horrible experience. Food was not good. Very disappointed ? one star is for the chef, he tried. Shrimp was very fishy tasting. My friends apologized to us and said they would never go back.

Stopped in on the way back from Nashville as this is my favorite restaurant in Knoxville, and the Murfreesboro location didn't disappoint. Had a short wait for 7:00 on a Saturday night. Our table was very talkative and engaged with the experience, and our chef was awesome. Very interactive with everyone, cooked everything perfectly, and was very generous with portions. A return visit will be in order in the future.

Passed this place for years and never went in. Thought we would try it out for Valentines dinner, dressed up and made a reservation. With the word steakhouse in its name, thought it would be a little upscale. Walking inside, the decor and layout is more akin to quickserve Asian dining. Reservation was not needed, we didn't do the show hibachi, wanted to eat at our own pace. Very few people dressed for a nice dinner in this place, there were people in pajamas, tanks and crocs- several- not together. We sat at the little showcase bar, dressed up, enjoying a beer and perusing the menu. This is where it gets exciting- the little guy making sushi was extremely good at his craft, took great pride in showmanship with every order and didn't realize if you watch this guy work, you still get a show. We ordered hibachi from the menu and it was the absolute best Asian food we had in a long time! We did spend 80 bucks for 2, well worth it. Don't let the divey pajama wearing atmosphere dissuade you from eating here, we will go back, not in pajamas...

These people have a whole different personality on the phone than in person. And they give you less food when you go through a third party like DD or UE. Because they just blame it on the delivery service. I ordered food and appetizers. They sent me half the amount you get when eating in but they charge you more! The food came ice cold and half the order was missing. I called them and since I wasn’t in their restaurant complaining, both the woman and the guy were rude and cared less about the dangers of raw seafood left out for over an hour.Then while I’m explaining the situation on the phone, he ignores me as he waits on others there.I will never order from this place again!

We ordered two meals and three appetizers. You get four crab Rangoon for almost 6 dollars . this food had no flavor at all . the chicken was dried out , overcooked , the shrimp was overcooked but even if it had been cooked perfect as the steak was it had no flavor nothing the rice had no flavor. We ended up throwing our food away I have never thrown $60 worth of food in the trash before. I got the $30 meal plus 2 appetizers . It broke my heart to have to throw the meals away the other meal was just the $17 regular chicken hibachi meal mine was I think the special hibachi it had filet mignon, shrimp, and chicken with vegetables and rice. It was horrible if I could give this zero stars I would have but one is the lowest I could go so that’s what I did. I would never ever order from this restaurant again and waste my money. I tried to look online to find reviews and I couldn’t find them last night and it was getting late I wish that I had tried even harder. Don’t say you wouldn’t warned. I didn’t try to call them because if you don’t add flavor and u thought this was ok to send out you would give me a hard time I’m sure. I was so disappointed I knew if I called I wouldn’t be very nice

Very poor experience overall. Made a reservation online and showed up at that time. When we arrived they told us that they lost our reservation and that we were going to have to wait an hour and a half before we could be seated. Will not be coming back.

Ordered food to go. When I got home there were black hairs in our soup, salad, and rice. After spending $70 we were so grossed out we couldn’t even eat it.

I would like to be fair with 3⭐️. The sushi was not all that great. We tried the volcano ? roll; it was definitely not what we expected.? The roll itself came out like a slop of nachos. The meal portions were pretty slack for the price. The soup was bland with no taste, and we were not given an option on salad dressing. It just came with ginger. The overall service was top notch, as far as being a regular, not going to happen.

very friendly place to eat and great food

If you like sushi, this is the best around hands-down! Their hibachi is unique, but that's what makes it so delicious. It isn't like every other place in town. A must try if you haven't yet. The chefs are funny and enjoyable.
