Love Waffle House! We always stop at a Waffle House on vacation. Had the (new to me) Egg, Sausage and Cheese Grits Bowl. Was very good.
Thank God this waffle House is open. I am sick and tired of 24-hour places shutting down early. Apparently you can only catch the coronavirus after 11:00 p.m. when I came here, my food was ready and fresh, and the employees were so nice and jovial. I will be back
My bacon was burnt was actually black and my eggs were burnt scorched on the bottom and was not completely done even I asked for over well. My server was great she kept my coffee filled and always come back and ask me did I need anything
The food was pretty good. My order had been messed up twice so I pretty much ate by myself since everyone had already finished by the time I got my food made correctly. It wasn't anything special, I ordered right off the menu. Other than that the food was good and our server was pretty nice until I hesitantly asked if I could have my order fixed then she got a little bit of an attitude .... oh well ??♀️ what can you do.
I was in here on March 6 to eat breakfast as I went to 3 other places in town and every place was full with a 30 minute wait time. this waffle house had empty seats so I chose to eat here. However, I regret it. Had to wait 8 minutes before the server even came to give me a menu. Then another 10 minutes to even ask what I wanted to order. Then, while observing the cooks making the food, I noticed absolutely none of them change their gloves. Especially the man pulling raw meat from the fridge and then placing it on the grill. He then proceeds to rest that contaminated hand onto clean dishes!! That's cross contamination and can get someone sick! I almost died from food poisoning before and I won't allow it to happen again. When I brought it to the servers attention, they all started talking and complaining about me bringing up my concern. I will definitely talk to management about this another day.
Not sure what the deal is with this Waffle House but, we were very disappointed. We frequent Waffle House ALOT! This particular one (#1051) the worst by far. The young lady greeting was dry and unwelcoming. She also took our order and failed to provide all our food. The cook was talking to another server and allowing everyone’s food to get cold. We ate and still was held up because we had not received the rest of our food. Thumbs down to this location!
I wouldn't recommend eating here unless you wanna get sick. their employees touch raw meat and then transfer that bacteria to clean dishes, cooked food, etc and don't even change their gloves. when you bring your concern to a servers attention, the person who is cross contaminating makes a big deal out of having to change his gloves after touching raw meat. then the store manager makes excuses and simply doesnt care. I have a video recording of the whole thing. they say it's ok to touch raw meat and then rest that contaminated glove on a clean plate and then put cooked food onto the plate that has raw meat bacteria on it. cross contamination is the #1 cause for foodborne illnesses!!
it was 1am. I was hungry. I have to say this was the best meal I've had in a long time. The hashbrown bowl with sausage is the way to go. add some bacon and jalapeños. and you got yourself a great dish. the staff was amazing as well. so happy and friendly. I had a great conversation with the staff and enjoyed my time there!
It's a Waffle House, not for everyone and took me sometime to come around. However, for the classic dinner experience there really isn't much better of an option than a Waffle House.
The food was great. It was very crowded. The cheese grits were not well mixed but overall very good. Great waitress.
