The guy who took my order was not friendly and even snapped at me when I asked about naan (I'm getting it! He said sharply) He just assumed I wanted water and never asked what I wanted to drink. The buffet was much more limited than in the past. An older gentleman got more water for me and was much kinder than the guy at the register. I hope this was just a fluke. I know they're opening another location and I plan on trying it once its opened. I've enjoyed Clay Pit in the past but today left much to be desired.
This is hands down the best restaurant in Murfreesboro. The food is so amazing I can eat there every day, especially that choley peshwari and the vegetable pakora! Everyone works there are very knowledgeable about the dishes, and they are so friendly that if I want certain dishes to be arranged for the buffet, they will do it for me. I absolutely love the food here and I promise you won’t regret eating there!
To be clear, this is the ONLY time I’ve eaten at a buffet and only went through the line once. So that is saying a lot!The choices are so limited. There are 2 protein choices and that’s it. They didn’t even have curry. Seriously?! It was definitely lacking in options. The spice level was definitely too high for me as well. I like a “little kick” but this was just way too much.The water tasted like plastic, so I’m not sure what that was about. And they didn’t have any type of dessert at all. Most Indian restaurants offer mango pudding, which I love. Nothing at all here.The service was great and the naan was delicious! But not worth the time or money. (Unless you only like chicken tiki masala and rice, because that’s basically all there is.)

I ordered Uber eats and it was a busy night for Uber so my order came a little late but the nice man on the phone ( I called about 4 times ??)he made sure I received my order after they were shut down. He didn’t forget my hot sauce to !! Thumbs up.Phenomenal food. I’m a truck driver and I will definitely eat here again I’m impressed for my first time. The Indian tea was really good as well. I love the mango lassi. The portion of food given is a well Devine amount for the price. It was kind of late and a lot of food so I had to save it for tomorrow’s lunch.

I got the tandoori chicken and when I got home, there was NOTHING but bones in the sauce. I literally had no chicken. I paid $15 and when I called them and explained my issue, they said it’s supposed to have bones and that it’s traditional. But I paid for CHICKEN not for the bones and some sauce. I’m never coming back here. What a total waste. It was literally inedible
We love them so much that we had them cater our wedding. Best Indian restaurant in the Boro according to my Hyderabadi husband. I really love their Buffett!
$15.35 for lunch buffet with no drink?! No way I'm coming back here!Tandoori chicken was so dry it must have been yesterday's batch. Only two chicken dishes on the buffet and one chickpea concoction (which was the least bad of the selections.) The pakoras were full of the outer skins of onions and were very dry. No dessert was available.The rice and bread were good, but not FIFTEEN DOLLARS GOOD!!
