Went here for dinner for the first time with a group of friends. Tried out multiple appetizers and desserts which were delectable. Dinner portions were good sizes and fresh. They also serve bread while you wait which is always an extra perk in my opinion. Prices are higher than most, but the experience is worth. We will definitely be back to try out more entrees.
My go to for great steaks. We were kidless this weekend so we splurged a bit. I got the prime ribeye which did not disappoint. Wife got the Rosemary chicken and went on and on about it.Just a solid meal. Be sure to get reservations on the weekends!
Always constantly good food and service. Probably the only place in Murfreesboro where I have never been disappointed.
We brought a family of 8 today at 1:30pm. Our server was excellent..(I wish I could remember his name.) He brought everything we asked for and checked in with us regularly. Or food was prepared just like we asked and the stakes were cook just right. We had an excellent early dinner celebrating my wife and her moms birthday. We will be back again soon.
My brother was in town to help me move. After a long day, we both wanted a good meal and a cold beer. We cleaned up and ventured out to the Chop House. This was my fourth or fifth visit to this location (my brother's second). After experiencing great service and excellent steaks in previous visits, somehow the team brought their A+ game. We dined at the bar due to all the tables being reserved for prom goers. The bar staff provided phenomenal service. Although we started with a couple of cold beers, the bartender recommended a great bottle of red wine. I chose the ribeye while my brother picked the sea bass special. Both meals were outstanding. The food, the wine, and the service were unrivaled. Again, The Chop House remains on my Top 10 Steak List.
Nice location, good atmosphere, and service. There's never been a bad moment at The Chop House, they are consistently good. The wait can be long at times because they are one of the few nicer restaurants in our Boro.
My husband and I came here for my birthday. His steak was good and he really liked the blue cheese butter. I had the seafood pasta but it had a lot of bits of shell in it and I think shrimp peeling. I kept biting into something hard or what felt like shrimp tail or shell. Our waiter Nick was really great, but the girls working the front were a little rude. When we came in, they didn't smile or seem friendly at all. My husband told them to have a nice day when we left and they didn't respond, only gave blank stares.
How exactly is a racist jerk, not even the restaurant staff, calling the cops okay behavior??? Then the restaurant let's the racist continue being served, admit he called because he's racist AND ask our party to leave? If they don't like the review, ask them what they are doing to rectify the behavior? BTW tell them the black member of our party was a cop or that whole fiasco couldn't been very ugly for them. He didn't want a scene. They owed us an apology. Look at it this way, if we had been 5 white women, say me and my friends, celebrating a birthday and some random jerk at the bar called the cops on us they would've made the jerk leave.
The service was great and the food was even better!! Really enjoyed myself.
Our waiter was Jacob. We could tell that he was busy, as this restaurant is always bustling. Jacob was SO attentive! Our food was wonderful, but what I really want to talk about is the Crème Brûlée Corn ???? I don't know who came up with such a creation, but it was AMAZING. Perfect sugar crust on top, savory and subtly sweet corn mixture man oh man I'd go back just for this. Jacob also recommended the Southern Belle as a drink choice (after asking if we liked fruity drinks) it did not disappoint!!
