Service good, food cold or Luke warm at best. I always try to give good reviews but felt a need to report this. The fries were old, almost ambient temp. The hamburger was old, bun was stale, like a day old product. Have not eaten there in a couple of years but hopefully management will work to provide a better product.

Never again. Short and simple, the whipped cream on my shake tasted expired/old, my order was missing many items once it came out, restaurant was extremely dirty, bathroom trash was overflowing tremendously, staff were blasting music on a speaker through the restaurant and rapping, toilet paper was very cheap and thin, I watched a worker “clean the tables” , he sprayed once and wiped ONCE on a 4-top table.. that’s concerning since we are in a global pandemic. The fountain drink machines were either out of order, or really low on soda syrup. I’ve never felt the need to write a review on anything but with my experience tonight, I just couldn’t help myself. ?

New kiosks to order your food works well and is easy to navigate. My mom and I both ordered a cup of cheese sauce for dipping but instead were served fries with sauce already on them, which was an option we Did not pick. We also heard other customers complaining of this as well. Sandwich and shake was great though!

The new Steak & Shake method of ordering by screen and serving your own drinks, etc is definitely more efficient and helps them save cost, but in many cases it leads to a restaurant that doesn't get tables wiped down regularly or floors swept.I feel for the staff in these locations. They are absolutely short-handed and are doing everything they can to keep up. Our food was good on this visit and that's why I am rating 4 stars. The restaurant itself was a mess, but I don't really blame the staff. They are being put in a tough situation with the new operation methods and lean staffing model.

At this S&S you use a touch screen to turn in your order, which I kinda like because I can make sure I'm putting my order in the way I want it. My issue the last time here was that the cups and utensils were all out and it took 5 min of standing near the counter to finally get the attention of someone to restock. The food was lacking in flavor compared to many other times eating here. The Frisco melt had very little sauce and the fries were on the Luke warm side rather than warm or hot. This was on a Wednesday night so they were not busy at all.

I go to this steak and shake quite often because I love the garlic burger, I always add lettuce tomato and pickle too. Drive thru workers are nice enough, wait times are usually high but I know what I’m getting myself into. I can count on one hand how many times my order has been correct though. I’ve been here 20+ times and 98% of the time my order is incorrect. I didn’t realize how hard it was to add lettuce, tomato, and pickle but I guess hard enough that I already know I’m going to have to go back inside just to ask for it. Now I immediately pull into a parking spot after I grab my order because I know I will have to go back inside. Maybe if it was once or twice I would understand but it genuinely is almost every. Single. Time. Pretty annoying.

I had placed an order through the app and patiently sat waiting for this doordash delivery. The driver gets here and cancels my order?! Obviously I'm super annoyed at this point so I called the restaurant to too what was going on. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND!! I guess the owner was there and was upset to her what happened. He offered to have the order remade and delivered by the manager!! So amazing and I'm beyond appreciative!

Since the upgrade, they have been ON POINT!!! The kiosks have improved this restaurant sooo much! We have been several times since they did away with the traditional servers and we were in and out quickly. We used to avoid this place if there was more than a few cars in the parking lot Bc service was so bad. They have done a 360’ change and it’s definitely helped! If you haven’t been for a while, definitely give them another shot.

The food was great. My only complaint is that the ordering process/pick up process is complicated. We ordered in person and waited like 20 minutes for our to go order because we werent notified that it was done. Our number wasnt called out. It was just sat under the heater without us being notified.

Cold food, took over 50 minutes to get through the drive through. Order taker had to ask 3 times to confirm the order. Didn't get a fork for a Chilli 5 way order. Order taker was nice though.
